Apparently, it is no longer funny to announce loudly that "it's time to go to the airport!!!" to stop the snoring.
I, however, am finding it hilarious.

 

I find it hard to believe that you haven't resorted to Sasquatch's one weakness: busting out a SLR with a huge flash.

That almost always makes the yetis run, at least based on what I've seen on this shit History channel shows at 3 AM.

 

And yet, I do not want to endanger my own nightvision in the event I may need to engage evasive maneuvers after suggesting that it's 4 am, when it's really 12:30. Self-preservation, yo. The normal one has to get up at 6 am... and she has better aim when throwing pillows in my general direction.

Tried to watch it once and turned it off before the middle. Which reminds me, I just obtained the first two Star Wars prequels on VHS for free and might try to watch the first one again. The pod race was good if memory serves, especially that part in the middle of it where Jar Jar Binks gets dragged into a back alley by a gang of thugs and beaten to death with rusty spanner wrenches while both Jedi watch and give helpful advice to the gang.

 

the "good news" is that it only costs an estimated $94 to fix a Canon 50mm F/1.4 after you accidentally drop it on the carpet and damage what has to be the focus mount. Ugh - stuck with the lousy 18-55mm for now, but will be worth it in the end whenever I can have that done.
