It's only on a premium channel I don't have presently (in the UK) but the trailer looks really good. I may check it out when it shows up on cheap cable.

I caught most of the first episode. I'll give it a couple more to interest/hook me.

Yeah, the first episode as many first series' episodes are, was a little choppy but smartly written, well-acted. I see enough potential that I'll catch eppy 2 this week.
Some critics have a big hate on for the showrunner Aaron Sorkin, and I sensed a lot of bias in the reviews leading up to the premiere. It seems audiences like the show though so the critics seem to be um, softening somewhat.

I've watched the first two episodes, its decent. It hasn't really drawn me in yet but I think there is a lot of good potential for it. I was worried it was going to be a clone of The West Wing just in a different setting but so far it has a different feel for me. I'll probably continue watching it but not sure at this point if it will become a favorite show of mine.

I saw episode 1, and am definitely going to follow it. I, too, am seeing the potential :)

The dialog was even faster in ep. 2. I had some trouble following it and understanding all the references.
Guess I'm not as smart as the target audience :)
    I'll watch it again.

Watched it again. Understood almost everything.
Apparently, for me, it can make a difference watching it at 3am vs 8.30pm.

Hokay ... just watched episode 2.
    I'm enjoying this.

I had a strange flashback while watching it: Moonlighting with Shepherd and Willis.
Something about the cocktail of chemistry and dialog ... the sheer density of it.

And heck ... I DID have to keep wide awake while wtching it.

    Watched eppy 2 tonight.
I'm really liking Jeff Daniels and Sam Waterston.
I would like them to write the women a bit smarter, though. Their dialogue is snappy but they are literally tripping over things and fucking up in other ways that the guys don't seem to be doing.

I think it's just that the women are very smart but have some problem areas. The producer has low mechanical aptitude and is not great at computer skills. She is great at her job, etc.

They're probably just trying to make the show realistic:p .

    Har.
I'm not gonna nitpick any more than I have. I really believe in giving a new show time to find it's rhythm.

Obviously I'm just kidding and after seeing the first couple episodes I think guys are tripping over thing and making mistakes on an equal rate as the women. I'm not completely thrilled with it but it may have promise.

I found I had to watch it with closed captions on. I found the sound mix to be a little uneven especially when they spoke in hushed tones and whispers. Otherwise I found the dialog to be excellent. It was also nice to see a good show about behind the scenes of a TV show.

I know you were (sort of) kidding. I'm also noticing no other ladies making comment here. Plenty have, in the 'outside (non-TFP) world'. I don't want to be ripping on the writer of the show (Aaron Sorkin) based on a seemingly commonly-shared belief that he dumbs down his female characters. I never saw his biggest show, 'The West Wing,' but that is where the comparisons are coming from. It's too early for me to take a stand about it, I'm merely putting out first impressions.

I see this show as being a different form of The Daily Show, pointing out what is broken in our news industry--but in this case dramatizing it in a serialized way. Both shows are being/have been accused of having a liberal bias, which honestly I don't know what that even means anymore--they tell too much truth about what news we see on television?
