I take it you took the ITILv3 Foundation certification?

Thanks for the explanation as to why part of the gaming community is upset with the series. I had Edi and Liara throughout all the missions because their powers were far better than the other two. I did most of the side missions and scanned every planet for materials in case they were needed in the future. The most exciting part during the scan was getting away from the Repears before they took out the Normady.

Yes, I have the pin and everything. We were required to take the certification at work. I got the v2 pin, then had to take a refresher a year later and get the v3 cert. It has added zero value to my job, though.

ITIL is a giant waste of time that makes the PHB's happy.

Every time I think about doing a cert I decide I'm better off actually learning something useful instead.

Someone called. Picking up a shift tonight. Tomorrow, however, is ALL ABOUT sunshine, swimming, grilling out, and fireworks.

I just looked and saw that tha Mass Effect is only $20 online for the PC. Might give it a try

In other news on my "cutting edge" life I watched the first 7 episodes of the new Doctor Who yesterday and am quite fond of it so far. I also watched the "Three Doctors" 10 year anniversary special from 1972 last night featuring the first three and "Space Ark" with Tom Baker. That last one reminded me why I was so fond of Dr Who in my younger years and seeing the stuntsmen crawl around in hokey carpet "costumes" and wearing classic Ed Wood quality full body ant outfits was great.
Tom Baker is still my favourite by far, but to state the obvious the special effects are vastly superiour in the new version. Christopher Eccleston does a solid job though.

  10. Time for a beer. Busy day. So much work done today that I actually broke my office chair. Crap.

Taking Th and Fr off, yeah! Going to paint the trim on the house (in Africa-like heat), boo!

That reminded me of Rodney Dangerfield's one-liner when asked how long he would be hospitalized: "If all goes well, about a week. If not, about an hour and a half."

While cooking with my mom today there were a lot of student-has-surpassed-the-master moments. Kinda nice to be viewed as the master instead of the apprentice for a change.

Makes note to find and sell working copies of the "flashy thing" from Men in Black series. Could have made a fortune from people trying to forget the Star Wars Prequels alone, and hollywood would make sure that business is always booming.........
