  2. Hmmm. Some interesting plans may materialize at the end of July. Don't know if I'll be able to do them though because of a good opportunity I'm working on now. It's probable that I'll be able to go because I'll most likely fuck up the scenario that would prevent the fun in July.

Going administrator hunting in Chicago in July? You should bring something tougher than a giant spider or bear, the_jazz will laugh fearlessly at those.
Bring something really scary like the "Best of Justin Bieber" boxed CD set (greatest compilation of silence you could ever buy, just watch out for the sets with sound)

In Chicago, you don't hunt admins; admins hunt you.

And in Chicago, they play for keeps.

    Finally saw the Avengers.

Tomorrow I'm ordering a new laptop for school. I'm kinda excited. $400 will buy you a lot of laptop these days. It's crazy.

Mine will keep me company on the way to DC in two week, Settie... Wish we could figure out how to give the Angry Uteri a shot of happy drugs from time to time.

In other news, apparently my "job" entails accompanying the 4 year old that mauls me to the swimming pool with his family. Awesome. Especially since I have massive reactions to chlorine if I don't get it off me within an hour of getting out... And I have an appointment back at the office afterwards. :(

  15. Ugh, didn't get home from O"hare until close to midnight. 7:30 conference call followed by another at 9:00 and also at 1:00, then a late afternoon wedding.

Leaves me little time this morning to guzzle coffee, which I desparately need.

So it appears that I may need to make a trip to London in the near future. Curiouser and curiouser.

And for the record I smell like tapioca, cedar, deisel fuel and jism with just a hint of pig farm.

Anyone who thinks the government should be given more things to manage for us should spend a couple hours at the DMV.

While playing Mass Effect 3 last night I may have accidentally killed off the wrong alien race, but they wouldn't listen to logic. I hope the geth don't screw me over.

How do I always end up in the conservative underbelly of the Intarwebz?

Apparently, being ejected from a university for discriminating against gays is oppressive against Christianity and an infringement of the First Amendment.

I'm neither a Christian nor an American, and even I know that's fucking bullshit.

That's the state government, and if my DMV is anything to go by, fine by me. Getting a new title, registration, and a temp plate took maybe 20 minutes-10 minutes in which we filled out paperwork while waiting, and 10 for the actual transaction because we had to go outside and the DMV employee had to check the VIN. Pretty painless.
