Universal Soldier. Two-for-one... Dolph AND Van Damme.
Although, I didn't know Lundgren doesn't really have an accent.

The blonde in that? I creamed *my* panties! (and I'm not talking about Cory Everson, though I wouldn't pass her up)

Knowing JCVD, he's probably got an entire workout for "split squats":

I do not think that is what you mean to say. I do not think your brain is expendable.

Seriously. I'm really happy with how they roped in all sorts of great "I know that guy!" people from the last thirty years.

These cheesy action movies defined my youth. To see all the characters at it again (and having just as much fun) is great.

To me, the biggest problem with action movies in the 2000s is that, well, they just take themselves too goddamn seriously.

Total Recall remake is probably going to be a prime example. You can't Blade Runner that movie and expect it to work.

Drive Angry (2011). Tell me you've seen it.

I haven't laughed out loud like that (and that often) in a theatre for quite a while.

Nic Cage has a few gems out there in terms of movies you can't take seriously, but that one takes the cake.

And I haven't seen enough of Statham's other stuff to know whether he's hit or miss with the serious seriousness, but Crank: High Voltage* was pretty goddamn ridiculous too. (I didn't see the first one.)

*Its ridiculum thrust me into a surreal state of "Am I really watching this?" It actually got exhausting as early as about midpoint of the film.

The movie poster alone looked ridiculous. I might be willing to give it a try if it hits Netflix streaming or perhaps on Redbox.

I saw the first five minutes of The Expendables at work in the breakroom until it was turned off for the R rating. I did notice it was on the Neflix streaming list, it caught my attention enough for the action genre that I will get to it at some point soon probably.

Looked forward to the first Expendables as soon as I heard about it being produced and abso-fucking-lutely loved every second of it. Next to all the awesome action heroes from the past and present, the fact that Couture (whom I love just for being such a classy guy when he knocks the shit out of you) was involved made me a real fanboy a year before release.

Watching the trailer for the sequel made me orgasm. I wanna see, if Van Damme developed some new moves in the past 20 years. :D

Hi five. Couldn't have said it better myself. My first knowledge that Expendables was going to exist was hearing about it from Joe Rogan as he commentated one of Couture's fights. Let's see more of him in this one.

And a secret wish ... Get my lifetime favourite Rutger Hauer into it. He still Rocks (anyone seen Hobo With A Shotgun? And by way of galactic contrast, The Mill And The Cross?)

Never really a fan of JCVD, but then again I have not seen a whole lot of his stuff. Still super pumped for this! Loved the first one.
