Today's feeling great for some reason. I'm in this super-relaxed mood and it seems like nothing can ruin it.

 

Because we like sweaty, half-naked people grappling, uncle phil. Duh.

 

Listening to Sirius' Lithium channel always makes me wonder what happened to 80% of the bands from the 90s. Like Filter, where are they? They weren't THAT bad. I wanted to take their picture, anyway.

In other news, I hate when my audiobooks malfunction and I have to listen to Sirius radio.

 

I am not sure why Miranda has something against Jack, but you do not want to argue with a mentally unstable super powerful biotic assassin in close quarters.

 

Basically what you said to snowy. The gi makes it easier to move and hold people because you have something significant to grab. You can't rely on sweaty skin and brute force to get yourself out of most chokes and arm bars (or any clinch situation, really). That and they have a helluva lot more class than some baggy fight shorts that have Condom Depot printed on the ass. It's just my opinion; UFC has made the Tarzan look cool again.

I like MMA and I know sponsor logos are the name of the game these days but I can't help but feel like the citizens in Idiocracy when I see UFC.

Doubt you'd call a 16 oz. cotton canvas karate gi flimsy, but it obviously isn't as heavy as a double weave judo gis. Doesn't have to be. Karate isn't judo.
