    dude, i doubt that the name 9er gave me when we met was real, so you'd have to doubt id have his cell number. Besides, it was much easier referring to him as 9'er.

    in saying that, a quick search reveals that the international dialling code is from afghanistan... Plan9 we only know one dude here from there, so who knows, maybe it was Remixer?

    Yeah, the mobile number is most likely an Afghan one. +93 is Afghanistan, but I've never seen a mobile number starting with "0774".

    If I were to guess, I'd put my finger on the carrier being MTN. Etisalat, Afghan Wireless and Roshan definitely don't have numbers like that, and MTN is known to sell weird numbers.

    I don't suppose you can get Havana Club with the embargo and all. I imagine something like Bacardi or Captain Morgan will work just fine.

    I only get Havana Club to make mojitos for sentimental reasons. I had my first one ever while sitting in Tropicana in Havana, Cuba, the same city where Ernest Hemingway drank them countlessly. The rum would make them a bit more authentic, but I don't think that's necessary. Who needs authenticity in a world of affectation?
