    Man, I've been carrying around this gunk for over a week. I know it's not allergies, as I'm on allergy medication (morning) and taking another antihistamine (Benadryl) at night (allergy season here has SUCKED this year; it's made me really good about remembering to take my Zyrtec).

    The rain might give us some reprieve from the heat,* but that hasn't changed the fact that it's time to start making large batches of iced tea/tisane.


    *Before all you Middle Easterners/Asians/Southern Americans, etc., start going all "oh, you haven't seen heat...!" think back to when it was last below freezing where you live. I remember: It was less than a month ago. How about you? We aren't fucking acclimatized to the heat yet, okay?! Fuck....

    Bro, you guys so don't know jack on what real heat is all about.

    Acclimatized my ass. Try comparing 45°C with 90+ % humidity in the middle of the desert with -20°C in a forest.

    On a sidenote: It's been getting really hot in Kabul lately. Time to get a big batch of awesome ice cream from the Italian place.

    Well, you guys don't know jack about running water, electricity, and indoor plumbing. Also: picking a place to live. Who lives in the desert? Really?

    What are you doing running between the middle of a burning desert and the middle of a frozen forest? I thought you had some kind of office job.... Also how far away would they be? Is the forest on a mountain or something? Is it tough to climb, or do you drive? That's a temperature change of 65°C. I didn't think Afghanistan was that big. Is it mountains? Do you go into the mountains lots?
