    I would like a Street Glide or a Road Glide. Even 4-5 years old they are going for $16-18k. New they are $22-25k all decked out. Too much for what amounts to an unnecessary (albeit very fun) toy.

    Look at a used Honda. VTX-1800 series. Half to third the price, easier to work on and you still get the joy of a big thunder rumble machine.

    HDs are great and all (if you're wealthy), but if it's just a weekend toy for the sake of riding, you don't need a $25k fashion statement.
