I am not sure which of the three movies I would like to see: Men in Black III, Dark Shadows or Battleship. All three look awful, but I have a free ticket.

I have never cried over statistics like I have after being told I didn't pass the project and having made three revisions. I don't know WHY the df are like they are, dude, I ran and re-ran the data until my eyes crossed. I have EIGHT output files that are 10+ pages long. I don't know what to say. SPSS is on fucking crack?
I even included a screen capture of the SPSS data at this point, notes on my tables to explain the things he suggested.
I still have 15 pages to write for another class (due today), a SO that would really like to spend some time with me, and two psych reports to write. And there's a tropical storm coming. To say I'm drowning would be an understatement. I want my fucking blood back.

If its moved after the storm Noodle, you will post an updated map wont you. Do not stress about the work load. It may be exhausting and a pain in the rectum - but its do-able. Is your tutor being a total fuckwit the source of your problems? We had one in particular - an old boy of the college - shakespearian actor, down on his luck. Could not teach to save his life. As far as I know, I am the only one that didn't pass. My prof is the guru of stats at the university, my previous stats instructor sucked ass. This is for three research credits and is a culmination of everything we're supposed to have learned over three courses. I apparently learned how to do the write-up wrong. I'm definitely learning now, just hope it's not too late.

And, it's just a wee tropical storm... Not worried about anything but losing power while trying to write papers. Which would suck. But wind less than 60mph are just fun. Rather be out taking photos than working. Just 20mph gusts for now. And some sprinkles.

 

On the day of our mock exams, as we were travelling into college on the train, we became stuck in the middle of nowhere because some chap further up the line had decided to shake off this mortal coil and jump in front of a train.
We got there only about 15 minutes late, and were told by our tutor that the excuse was not good enough, not shocking or dire enough, we should have anticipated such events and been on time.
Can you ask for an extension? - not that you need it, but a backup plan is always a handy thing to have.

 

What the fuck is the Academic City doing, being a 40km drive away from the FZE...

I was really hoping I could avoid having to hire a dipshit driver.

 

Daughter is home from college. Guess I'll have to start wearing pants around the house now.

What is with the resemblance between Marshall and Lily (HIMYM) and my SO and I?

Only one major difference: Unlike Marshall, I didn't get myself a place in the wind direction of a sewage plant. And as I just found out, I almost did the same mistake today.

Who the hell decided building the International City next to a huge sewage plant was a good idea?
