    Oakshire's Black Belgian. Really good. There's a bit of dark malty bite to balance the sweetness the Belgian yeast brings to the party.

    I switched the Duchess for my husband's Rodenbach Grand Cru--we were tasting Flemish reds side by side. The Grand Cru is my new favorite. Seriously, go have some.

    I followed that with a lighter choice: Weihenstephaner's Hefeweissbier. Then we split a glass of Monk's Mistress from Midnight Sun Brewing.

    All in all, a grand beer adventure.

    Right now, I'm having coffee.
