Tonight being a Tuesday in the middle of finals, I don't think I can do anything exciting. Or can I? Time to go throw some delicious bread in the breadmaker and some stew in the crockpot. It will be a delicious home-cooked meal, perfect for stormy weather.

    Bread:
    1-1/8 cup warm water
    1 tablespoon butter
    1 teaspoon sugar
    dash of salt
    2 cups white flour
    1 cup rolled oats
    1 tablespoon wheat gluten
    2-1/2 teaspoons yeast

    Stew:
dried shitake mushrooms, hand-torn and crumbled
    Knorr vegetable bouillon
    4 cups water
1/3 of a white onion, diced
2 carrots, sliced (give half of one of the two carrots to the begging rabbit)
    1/2 cup frozen broccoli florets
1/2 cup cheap frozen french fries

i love my breadmaker. mmmmmmmmm. Seriously, this bread was killer good and required no work. I love it.

Had a very nice dinner tonight involving Shrimp Cocktail, Salami & Mushroom Pizza, Italian-style chocolate ice cream, and several Tuborg beers.

And Stanley's portion. After all those shrimp, I left a good 3oz or more of steak on the bone. He's a happy camper.

A man after my own heart. Grilled pineapple is great.

We are going down to the local wine bar we frequent for some live music. They don't have food, but invite people to bring in carryout or have deliveries made there. We'll probably order something for delivery. There is a hole-in-the-wall sports bar two doors down that has some good sandwiches and wings, maybe we'll do that.

More pad thai for now, but I'll probably eat something else later when we're out to watch the game.

Homemade burgers with fried onions on them, pepperjack cheese, homemade chipolte mayo sauce, homemade french fries, and corn on the cob.
