Pointless Announcements

I'm really aggravated that I'm not getting notifications on my phone for my work email or calendar. And that I've told both the front desk and the IT department, yet I'm still getting emails to call people when I'm offsite. Just freaking call me and tell me, geez, people.

 

Tired and unmotivated. Boss just emailed me to give him and update on what I've done so far in April. Basically nothing, waiting for work... The boss should know this already.

 

Chat was really fun last night. I imagine it went downhill after I left, though.

 

Pfft. Yeah, we all took off our pants and used Sharpie markers to make our crotches into cartoon animals. I was a wallaby.

 

I would have guessed platypus.

In other news, I feel really bitchy today.

 

Uggg.....I was told that the receptionist would get moved. SHE'S STILL HERE!!!

"A student died. It's so sad"

New person walks into the office and doesn't get more than 3 steps into the door so she shouts, "Did you hear that a student died?"

5 minutes, another person walks in...maybe 4 steps this time, "A student died on campus. Did you know her?"

We don't need an office crier. I'm sad that a student died, but I got the email too. You weren't exactly the first to know.

FYI: No known cause for the student's death but they don't suspect fowl play.

 

I was going to blame it on the ducks. You gotta watch out for those Muscovys.

 

The dumb guy would say "today?" Me, I'm just going to say "platypus would explain a lot" and back away slowly.

 

I'm still dealing with the after effects of the altitude sickness and I have a dull spoon.

I like that even though I'm off for three days, I'm still scheduled for eight shifts. Fun, fun.

 

Home sick, but hey with new job atleast im getting paid, and there the ones who told me to go home.

 

My SIL is in labor....she's at 5cm now. Sooooooon.

 

SHE'S HERE!!!! ZOMBIENIECE IS HERE!!!!!!!

 

I'm not a furry.

I like to experiment, though. She's gonna do it and I'm not gonna complain.

Probably won't ever get into BDSM or anything like that.

She also told me that she'll be getting cat-eye contact lenses. Oh mama.

 

Furries and those that befriend them, receptionists that won't die, students that do (sorry to hear, ZS), pants that disappear while chatting, Sharpies near the crotch, a platypus in the smooth spot, nausea, dull spoons and death threats, bosses that are oblivious, bosses that are hopefully *not* oblivious, pregnant zombie sisters-in-law, murder most fowl (that platypus has eggs, btw) a sick and ok-with-it county worker, a shifty waitress , an extra from Cool-Hand Luke with a penchant for creeping, and a bored mustache-less man-child.
