In other news, reminders of how bad I am at basic web design are truly awesome. Oh well, that is what happens when I let things sit so long unattended and get rustier than I was. As long as I do not try make one of these type of masterpieces it should be fine. Any serious effort actually intended to create that final look for a real website would kill any chance you have at getting paid in the developer field.

 

TL;DR

I'm sure it was angsty and/or whiny.

 

Ran TFP through that geocities thing just for fun and the result is truly hideous and all too accurate.

 

I really hate passive-aggressive bitchiness. But I also hate and avoid conflict, so I don't say anything about it. Le sigh.

 

Tonight in sociology class we watched a documentary short called Sidewalk. It is about book peddlers in New York. Very good, thought-provoking stuff.
During which, the professor sat down next to me and told me that I already had an A in the class so there was no need to come back next week for the last exam.
Sweet.

 

Do I really want to drive three hours for a concert? Um, fuck yes. Will I actually be able to? ....probably not

 

Sweaty, muddy, grass-stained, bloody. In most cases, I would be proud of this. In the case of the dogs' leash breaking, and chasing them through the neighborhood, I am mostly just fed up. The dogs, however, are quite pleased with themselves.

 

Myself, that would make me paranoid and I'd go anyway.

I got a 'year of service' pin to wear on my scrubs. kind of like the boy scouts.
I can't believe it's been over a year already since I got this job.
I didn't think I was going to make it. So glad I stayed because I really enjoy it now.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I would get through 300 pages per flight because it would suck me in. It was just so deep. I had a hard time just picking it up to read for pleasure because I had to give Ayn my full attention.

In other news, I had to send out an email to the entire company to please come find me if they come across a toilet tank lid on the floor so I can address it with my new client. Many jokes ensued.
