Every time you Canadians who actually live in the Motherland do something smart I rue the day I was taken as a 6 y.o. from Canada. I think, why not move back? Then I think about the lack of employment I have secured 'up there' and the reason why most of y'all live within 100 miles of the US border (bloody cold) and suddenly I'm OK-enough that I only have a summer place there.
Your constitution is indeed superior to the American one. Would it work in a country 10 times your size? I dunno but that's the excuse I heard for decades: Canada can do it (make smart changes swiftly) because Canada is so small.

You are correct.
I tend to oversimplify the gargantuan mess that is the US Federal government. But who is responsible for this government by and for 'the people?' Don't we the people chose who interprets and implements 'the process?'
