I want to be a dog when I grow up.

So excited about my roommate free weekend. Not that I don't like my roommates as they're the bestest. I just want to walk around naked!!! Ok, I don't think my boys would be against it if I did walk around nakers while they were home. They just haven't earned that privilege yet. I also plan on singing REALLY loudly and giving a good scouring to the place. All while nakers.

I'm told there are video cameras in the house other than my shower. I think the_jazz actually had those put in my house though.

I'm watching the 2000-era Battlestar Galactica with my rag time girlfriend, drinking too-intense white guy beer and wishing it was 2004 again.

 

I've now switched to a bloody mary (more appropriate than one might guess) and Starship Troopers, since I've never seen it. Don't hate.

 

Hand her a knife and tell her to go all Lorena Bobbit on you, and you'll recapture that era of your life quite nicely.

Never mind me, trying to figure out this flikr image thing on here and not getting far. Oh well, not too concerned about it.

 

To me, the biggest difference was the tech they used for the Troopers, and Earth's enemies. The enemies weren't really bugs, iirc, but more humanoid.
The tech, well, the troopers had individual pods they were in that were dropped from the starships from orbit and planted them into the ground.
The pods broke open and the troopers, in their mech-like armour hover-jumped over the terrain looking for the enemy. In my mind, it was extremely exciting.
The first time I saw the movie, I was somewhat disappointed, but in its own right, it's a good movie.

 

Yes, I like when you sing to me. And I do have a certain preference for being called "babygirl." However, being a complete stranger at the gas station kinda negates both of those. Sorry, dude.
