CNN and Yahoo are reporting that Zimmerman WILL be charged in Martin's death, although the actual charges are unspecified right now. It's about time. This may be the only way the real truth (or a closer version of it) ever comes to light.

I still think this one whole spectacle is one kneejerk followed by another. It became another race circle jerk; a Jesse Jackson pissing contest.

This one blown-up incident completely taints all concealed carry shootings, both yesterday and tomorrow. It also totally shits on the heart of the idea that private citizens are allowed to defend themselves instead of using Dial-a-Prayer. And as far as cynthetiq's quote regarding retreat, I certainly hope that scared bunny society isn't going to tell us to run away from a lethal threat instead of defending ourselves after giving us a permit to carry a pistol.
