Pointless Announcements

I just resigned my lease for a 2bedroom/2bath apt at $889 per month (up from $869). They wanted to raise my rent by $40/month but I talked them out of that nonsense. The nerve . And it is a medium quality neighborhood, nothing special (as noodle can attest). So I would say you're doing pretty good both ways.

 

and to top that off,I'm working today too.........on fucking sunday.

Depends what part of the world you reside in.
Here in the Northwest Chicago suburbs, good luck finding something decent for under $1000/mo.

My last apartment was 600 sq feet, 1 bedroom 2 bathroom, for $750 a month in an older part of Chicago. Nothing fancy about the location or amenities - your basic 1920's apartment building in an mostly Ok neighborhood. There were shoes on the powerline outside my bedroom window.

 

As I was putting away the chocolate syrup I used on my sundae, my eye caught on the package of real bacon bits in the door, and you know what happened then...

 

argh. this semester is killing me. killing me, the bastard. argh.

Today S, 10 friends, and I shot over 600 rounds of our own ammo, who knows how many of other peoples', got the cops called on us, went to Engine 15 and our biggest worries are what to eat for dinner and how to entertain ourselves tomorrow before we head out of town to the mountains of Gawjuh and Nawf Cackalacky for vacation on Tuesday.
Every vacation should start this way.

Cases? Of ammo? Shit yes... the police got called. And we were way out in the country. Our friend that carries the shank in her diaper bag had her .22 and .380 with ~200 rounds, another friend who just divorced her husband melted down her wedding rings and got herself another gun (total of 4) and brought 400+ rounds, then there were about 30 guns total, pretty much non-stop for two hours and 12 of us. I got so shoot a big-ass rifle, but had to do it left hand, so it wasn't as fun. I did take out a bunch of bunnies and chickies... lawn decorations.

 

I want to party with you.

 

Oh yeah, and I got to shoot the Glock and the PPS at the same time... 80s movie style... pow pow pow!

Had a great massage on Friday, traded my CRV in for a new CRV. Put the valium dispenser away for the weekend and went to a great show last night.
