    Oh yes, he has made quite clear that I'm missing a great deal and he's fretted about 'how' they are ever going to get this and such onscreen because it's just. so. epic. I believe everyone, I do.
    Perhaps the analogy that the TV series is an appetizer to the process of starting in with feasting on the epic fantasy series applies.

    I went to the exhibit on Sunday, must say I was a bit dissapointed - was expecting more. I did not sit on the throne - the line up for it was stupid long and I hate lineups.

    I was though insanely excited about the DVD some girl handed me and she said it was S02-E01 - I raced home to watch it and it was the first episode of season one :(

    I was expecting more too. But what I did see was pretty cool.

    We waited just over half an hour. We chatted and were entertained enough watching the other posers making fools of themselves. We did this before we saw the exhibit. Given how small the exhibit was, I'm glad we waited for these photos. At least we have something to take away from it (besides the series premiere on DVD ;)).

    In other news: My Season One on Bluray arrived today!!!!11

    It was kind of funny, I took my 10 year old son and my 13 year old daughter and we walked around the exhibit. My daughter was bored out of her skull and couldnt understand why I would bring her to a place like this - my son though let me explain about each item we saw. Who the characters are, who's good, who's evil and who were in between.

    When we got home he was so stoked about it he wanted to watch the DVD.

    I had to explain that sorry buddy, you're far too young for this :p

    Toronto appears to be lucky. We also had a display of the costumes and sets from The Lord of the Rings prior to the release of either the second or third film. There must be a lot of geeks in Toronto.
