simba is asleep out in the living room and I can hear him doing his 'sleep woofing.' let there be no doubt that animals do dream.

The geese are honking, outside of the windows at work. They sometimes fight with their reflections.

 

Only three people passed the last chem exam. I was one of them w. A pitiful 68. The lowest grade of my educational career. So much for that extemporaneous bullshit. What was I thinking?

Good news is, he is letting us retake it next week.

That reminded me of this classic -

 

I had a meeting on Friday to prepare me for the meeting I'm about to go into in 10 minutes. This meeting is a brainstorming meeting to figure out who we should invite to more meetings.

I absolutely hate it. I should be leading this ridiculous meeting because I'm the Comm/PR person, but my fucking director can't keep her hands off of the shit she knows nothing about.

 

The clock is frozen. Monday. Bleh.

 

It is a beautiful day and I am having breakfast for lunch at my new favorite hole in the wall.

Busy Monday morning, have been very productive. Need to be, plenty of travel this week. Nothing sucks the productivity out of a week like several multi-hour car rides.

I was hoping of taking off Wednesday or at least going in late, but it seems as if my presence will be needed for a meeting....another meeting that will be about meetings. I can't really say no since my new boss is the one calling this meeting.
