Just Finished Walking Dead....Sweet. Dale and Tucker vs. Evil just came out. I have not seen it yet, but it looks like my sense of humor. Also a Firefly cast member is in it.

Just watched Dale and Tucker vs. Evil. Pretty good, but most of funniest stuff is in the preview. Still, not bad for a smaller film.

Started with Portlandia, Also this week watched AKA Tommy Chong and Wild PArrots of Telegraph Hill. The Phantom sucked when I first saw it and sucked even worse today and yet I still liked it because I have always thought "The Phantom" was badass.

Just noticed the other day that a lot of the 70's "Women in prison" movies are now on streaming. Watched The Big Bird Cage since it was supposed to be a "classic" for guys like Tarantino. It was actually pretty entertaining. That was certainly a different era.

    Cayvmann Very Tilted

Some of the exploitation type movies from the 70's were very entertaining. But the trailers are better than the movies...

I thought Red State was really good. Not a typical Kevin Smith movie though.

Star Trek: Deep Space 9 becomes quite active and full of epic space battles during the final 2 or 3 seasons. I really had a good time with that show. Though in the midst of all the great meaty stuff, they throw in some horrible filler. Most of it involves singing, which in itself is interesting. Captain Sisco and Major Kira have unexpectedly fun voices.

Not a netflix thing, but one of my favourite uses for my Vizio wireless N Blu-ray player is to play youtube videos of MST3K on it. Looks quite good on the 40" inch and so much easier to watch on the couch than sitting in front of the computer. This user has a selection of shows available that is larger than what you can watch on Netflix streaming and they are all good quality.

    pan6467 a triangle in a circular world.

that was the point in which Paramount for whatever reason seemed to be trying to kill Star Trek's legacy. was never a DS9 fan. loved Voyager and Enterprise but the writing was eroding by then.

Red State is totally worth a watch, but it's definitely not a View Askewniverse movie. It's also, legitimately, not a great horror movie or a great social commentary. Smith does coax some very interesting performances out of a number of actors, however, and it's a fun ride for the hour and a half or so that it runs. The dude knows how to write his own particular brand of overwrought dialogue and it works nicely in this application. Check it out.

Of course, I listen to 3 different Kevin Smith podcasts and I own most of his movies, so I'm not the most unbiased person, so take that for what it's worth.

I could listen to Buck O'Neil talk for the whole 18 hours of that series. That guy was awesome.
