Cutler and Marshall were teammates before. I'm assuming someone checked to see that they got along well before trading for him. But knowing the Bears, probably not. :p

  2. Marshall and Cutler were tweeting about this before the season ended. There's a new regime in Lake Forest. It's all good.

I've heard that rumors are flying tonight that Manning to Denver is a done deal. Can't find a link to substantiate it yet though.

Nevermind, I was quoting an idiot. I still think it's likely, but the source I was reading made it sound like it was happening tonight. Upon further review it's nothing.

  4. The Marshall deal makes the division a lot more interesting. This makes a DB upgrade in Detroit even more vital.

Vincent Jackson to Tampa Bay... He's good, but the Bucs need more help than that. I chuckled at his contract, though: $55,555,555.00 total. There's a new meaning to "Ocho Cinco":D Why he's taking a jab at Chad Johnson is anyone's guess.

The North could be awfully tough with GB, Chi, and Det.

Reggie Wayne just re-signed with the Colts. So much for a Manning/Wayne package deal.

Bears picked up Jason Campbell as a back-up to Cutler. Big upgrade over the previous bunch.

One year you are talk of the league and have your photo in the cover of Madden and the next, you are tossed to a team that already has a star at your position. Ouch.

Yeah, if they try and put Rodgers on the cover this year I'm going to have to jump in front of the camera.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

    I'm pretty psyched about this.
We are going to have a solid front four on D this year.
I actually think we are 1 or 2 good drafts away from being a real contender.
(I know, completely absurd, but I'm a Bills fan!)

Peyton (yes, Manning this time ralphie250 ) is supposedly working out for Denver today after concluding talks in TN. Maybe a sign that he's about to sign?

Never thought he'd wind up in Denver, but it looks like that's where he's going. What happens to Tebow now? They can't keep him now that he has been a starter can they? I say he'll probably end up in Jacksonville.

I'd trade Tebow in a heartbeat, sign a veteran back-up (Jon Kitna, Bruce Gradkowski, Mark Brunell type), and draft a project QB that might be ready in 2-4 years after learning from Peyton. If the offense will be built around Peyton, no way Tebow could run it if Peyton got hurt. You'd want a more experienced, traditional passer as a back up. I think Tebow would be traded to a crappy team that wanted to fill seats, and I think your guess on Jacksonville would probably be an early favorite as to where he'd go.
