I need a Predator drone. I want to interrupt someone's internet for a few months.

 

I'm used to the weatherman being this inaccurate, but my hip is usually spot on. 4"-6" turned out to be about a half of an inch of snow.

 

I only have FB to check in with my family. Oddly enough, they've aggravated me so much that I've blocked most of them. So I get a newsfeed from some online blogs, and that's about it.

 

Ha! More snow in the last 30 minutes than total overnight. Cool!

 

I have the morning off. And I'm not going to do shit.

Oh, who am I kidding. I'll end up cleaning the house.

But in my mind I will be laying the couch eating Cheetos and watching Toddlers and Tiaras.

 

We got the Saskatchewan Soaker today. I shoveled 3 inches this morning before work, and at least another 2 has come down since then.

Oh, and I got an inspiring email last night. It sort of grabbed me by the head and forced me to smile.

 

Speaking of Toddlers and Tiaras, my daughter and I were watching last night and this little four year old, who reminded me of the child beauty pageant version of Margo Channing, screamed (in her iconic southern accent) 'When I have my ni ni I don't think about anything!! Her ni ni is her pacifier. I think it was the weirdest thing I've ever heard a child say.

You're mixing things up. It's not the Emerald City in that version. It's the Emiral City, and the flying monkies go around screaming "BAM!" And they're not stirrups that I'm wearing, they're chaps. Stirrups are the things on saddles for cowboys to stick their feet into or the things on medical tables so that the Japanese can stick horrifying things into their womenfolk.

Anywho, the musical ends with an a capella version of "Freebird" sung by Fremen and MeltedMetalGlob in their bodypaint and loinclothes. Personally, I always get tears in my eyes when I see CinnamonGirl pull on the ceremonial strap-on at the end because her glowing white dress when she tells Dororthy/ Glory's Sun that the power to go home was always within her, and that she (Cinn as Glenda the Good Witch) will just have to put on the magical lube to get it out. It's a wonderful show.
