Thought today was going to be up-and-down shit all over, workwise and otherwise. But it's actually not going so bad, so far.

 

...Badly. Not bad.

Also, the woman is totally in super sensitive hormonal vulnerability mode, and I totally don't have the patience for it right now, nor do I have time to delicately and tactfully (as is necessary) answer her questions about what her most annoying traits are.

Somehow I do have time to come here and complain about it in a post.

 

I know the feeling. It was nice to be completely relaxed last night and go to sleep at 3 AM. At least five solid hours (or more if my body is that tired) at actual night time is a luxury I appreciate once a week if not twice.

 

I almost forgot about my infusion today. Normally they are on Friday afternoons not Tuesday mornings. That really threw me off.

I'm pretty exhausted, so I don't think I'm going to make it through the rest of the day. There's ONE important meeting at 2:30, after which, I am going home.

 

Have had a headache all day long. No, make that since 3:30 am. Have been having them nearly daily. Headaches are a temporary side effect (up to several months - ugh) for the type of surgery I had. Makes sense, I now have 5 times the blood flow to the right side of my brain.

Makes for a long day.

 

Oh, the minefield! I did that one last night. New clothes were tried on. My opinion was asked. I was honest about the frumpy-frumpitude of them.

Big mistake.

 

Jesus, it's like you haven't paid any attention to anything anyone's said in 4+years of TFP posts. Whatdaya gonna do next? Try to slip it into the two-hole with no discussion and no lube?

I hate the "oops. It slipped." bullshit. Because, no, it didn't. It wasn't an accident. It was on purpose.

I am posting this under pointless announcements rather than its own thread, but I find the very notion disturbing still.
This was the tagline on CNN "Lindsay Lohan to play Liz Taylor?"
The story (this was in a video I am not linking here) was that Lindsey in negotiations to play Liz Taylor in a Lifetime movie, and mentions the possibility of a clause requiring her to stay out of trouble. Admittedly not the big screen but she is still the one of the last people I would pick for that role.
