    Thank you, Commanders.

Although that FG was a little nerve wracking.

The thought that gives me a small measure of hope: The Chiefs have won many games by one score or less this season. Can the Texans keep it close & pull off the win with their defense?

    Different year.

    Same shit.

Edit: A blocked FG. What a perfect ending for the lack of success by the Texans' offense.

    The Texlers are back.

Oh well. Now I can hope for a Ravens (with apologies to @fflowley) v Lions SB.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

The NFL should clarify the rules regarding roughing the passer.
Let's just get the truth on paper: "Any player touching Patrick Mahomes will be flagged for a personal foul."

I feel bad for CJ. Rough day.

I'm not going to whine about the officiating. The Texans offense didn't do their part. Throwing Fairbairn under the bus isn't right either. Throw Caserio under the bus for not doing something about the offensive line.

My misery :( & anger  is nothing compared to what Lions' fans are feeling.

I think the most fair thing to do is put Mahomes in a non-contact jersey. Then at least everyone would know you're not allowed to touch him. It wouldn't be the world's worst kept secret anymore.
Lions...woof. Sad that they lost so many great players on D to injury.
I'm more convinced now that whoever wins the Bills-Ravens game this evening is going to the Super Bowl.

During a broadcast a couple of weeks back Tom Brady, the most protected QB in NFL history*, said the NFL should let the players play physically because football is a physical game .

I was laughing & almost puking at the same time.

    * The NFL finally got tired of Brady after he won a SB with the Buccaneers.

I heard Brady say that, and had the same reaction that you did.

The Eagles damn near gave the game away. The prevent defense (employed too soon IMO) is supposed to prevent big plays & scoring, right?

Congrats to the Bills. The Ravens overcame their mistakes, almost forced OT. I need to rewatch the two point try because I'm wondering if Jackson could've ran it in.

Oh well. I'm back to hoping the Chiefs pull a threepeat just because Brady, Belichick, & the Patriots couldn't. Which means the NFC team will win the SB ;).

Can the Eagles handle the now much improved Commanders?

I'm thinking the Bills v Chiefs is a toss up.

I was a puddle watching the second half of the Bills game last night.
    Now on to KC!

Allen made one hell of a throw running for his life. It was tough catch, but it was catchable.

Now I have to root against the Eagles because I want the Chiefs to get what Brady & Belichick couldn't: Three SB wins in a row. Unfortunately the Patriots have three consecutive SB appearances.

I want the Chiefs to get the threepeat, just to flip off Brady, Belichick, & the Patriots. Once that happens, let the wealth be spread around to some other deserving QBs & teams.

The betting line favors the Chiefs by 1.5 points.

I'm getting one of those weird feelings telling me the Eagles offense is going to overwhelm the Chiefs defense to the point where even Mahomes can't pull off a 4th quarter miracle. Keeping in mind the Eagles defense is really good, & could give Mahomes fits if he's forced to play from way behind.

    We'll see.

I don't even know if I'm going to watch.
I don't like either team and I'm still bitter about the favoritism shown to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.

I like both teams. I won't cry if the Eagles win.

And I still dislike Brady, Belichick, & the Patriots. Brady will never get the threepeat, or a perfect season :D. It's possible for Belichick, but not probable :). Perhaps the Patriots could become dynasty again...hopefully not (even though I like Mike Vrabel).

    There's a Superbowl tomorrow.
I came to this thread to find out who is playing.

I watch Jeopardy occasionally, to remind mysef that I'm not especially intelligent. In one episodes the final Jeopardy question was an easy one about the most recent Super Bowl (I can't remember the question), but none of the three contestants got it right.

    Good grief!

It looks like the Eagles are about to add to their 24-0 lead.

The Chiefs can't find their collective ass with all hands, offense & defense.
