1. We've had very few donations over the year. I'm going to be short soon as some personal things are keeping me from putting up the money. If you have something small to contribute it's greatly appreciated. Please put your screen name as well so that I can give you credit. Click here: Donations

Let's hope Harris wins, and we get at least something of a blue wave in congressional seats.

Re making changes to SCOTUS...that's most likely a long term project.

Harris Campaign Gleefully Delivers Gut Punch To Trump On Fox News Ratings — HuffPost

    Numbers don’t lie Chump. :D

Unlike the headline and news narratives that want a horse race to sell news and ads.

Or pollsters who do the same, to keep relevant to all sides, to stay employed and profit..

    These ARE the real numbers.
    No spinning this.

Overcompensate for that in your crazed ego. :p
    It’s getting smaller…

    A woman is beating you.
And will beat you. ( * not the way you like, ewww)

Some truth for a bit of schadenfreude is a good way to start the day.

North Carolina Sets Turnout Record for First Day of Early Voting

The guns go off to signal the start.
Maryland's early voting doesn't start until the 24th.
I'll be doing it that day, since I'm moving. Don't want to have to register...and I'm staying in the same area.

Gotta vote. So I have a right to bitch and complain.
Ya can anyway...but it's moot and pissin' in the wind, if you don't.

Good luck to the Nation and its citizens.

But in all seriousness...that's a good sign...the more people who vote, tends to favor the Dems. (I'm biased, sue me )
And I'm hoping, this creates a certain onus & vibe that starts a cascade of greater volume across the nation.

    VOTE
    It counts!!!

    Actions have consequences
and here...lack of action has serious consequences...

Let's see where we're at heading into the last week of October and just a few weeks before election day. (although, mail in voting and early voting has started in many states)

    From WaPo
    upload_2024-10-22_6-13-11.png

And the NYTimes has essentially the same, just the numbers are scaled higher.

270 to Win has Harris already winning with what she has...above 270
    upload_2024-10-22_6-14-15.png

And all the others are even, with error going either way.
But they also seem to be lagging in their summary updates, since I've seen movement towards Harris since last weeks brief spike for Chump.

He's getting tired and cancelling left and right...rambling on about "things" and other things, eww. (AP's family disavows Chump and said AP got the willies on him...appropriately named willy I guess)
Harris is really making the rounds live and in person...and she has MANY VIPs coming out to stump for her. (and with her, surprisingly LIz Cheney, on a few rallies with her)

The momentum seems to have swung back to Harris' advantage again.
So the question is, can Chump hold up??? He's already showing signs of strain. (78 will do that to you...being insane will REALLY do that to you.

Me, I'm diplomatically posting favored memes for Harris, in my public threads...and anti-Chump too.
(no, I don't throw our raw meat and mud, that's Chump's way...it's about getting buy in, coaxing and convincing)

Sorry to my radical right friends, there's way too much at stake here. (I'm a lot more neutral and restrained IRL and real name threads and conversations, here I express myself.)

And I go by, "See something, say something"
To do otherwise, would be complacent...and in the end, complicit. (and that's the problem all the moderate GOP and ex-Chump staff that hate him did...y'gotta SAY something, repeatedly, go on record ASAP)

Because now we have a raging fire, just because they couldn't point out the gas and sparks...and arsonist.

Scripps has been showing NPD Trump's campaign speeches in bits & pieces; TBF to Scripps they have stayed with his rambling rants for quite a while.

I can't imagine listening to his whineyass lying & incoherent babbling for 1.5+ hours. It's the same thing over & over again.

Noteworthy: In one speech NPD Trump is kissing Elon Musk's ass, then he mentions watching a Space X (he didn’t know the company name) rocket blow up. Trump said he wasn't sure what he was seeing, which is one of the few truthful things he said.

Chump is witless and inattentive enough to not make the connection between Musk, Space X or Tesla.
His mind doesn't work like that, he's like a little kid...only attention and aware of what's right in front of him. (and what it can do for him, $$$...or if it's hurting/insulting him, IF he can interpret the insult)

The best analogy I can think of, is Jabba the Hutt, with the intelligence and attention span of Jar Jar Binks.
Or those damn ruthless child-like aliens on Star Trek...I think it was Deep Space Nine version.

What was the Star Trek plot? I can think of three episodes, 2 involved children, 1 involved obtuse aliens who wanted to be "smart" and "strong."

We have a cat where we have to give him his special treat where he can't see the other cats getting their treats. If we don't the greedy idiot will walk away from his treat to butt in on the other cats. His short term gratification thinking reminds me of NPD Trump.

Got this from WaPo, so y'all don't have to read TFA and waste time and a paywall,
here's the pic that cuts to the chase...it seems that Harris is significantly outpacing Chump in donations through most of the US. :D (yup, I'm biased)

So this is a good indicator of those passionate in voting and who they want to vote. (if you're donating, you're more passionate than most)

J.D. Vance was on TV today, & was asked if he supported NPD Trump's idea of doing away with our federal income tax.

Vance, of course, verbally danced around like an experienced ballerino*/dansuer nobel**. He did repeat a phrase that's new to me: Aspirational goal.

One definition of aspirational goal (to me) is:
An idea presented only to fire people up because it can never actually be reached.

Aspirational goals could be motivational in a good way, or manipulative in a bad way.

    * My wife was kind enough to look up the male equivalent of a ballerina.
** Essentially a male prima donna.

The maga assmouths on one of our local radio stations are starting to sound desperate. They're grasping at straws when attempting to present NPD Trump in a positive light, & criticizing VP Harris.

Tucker Carlson (I still think he might be AI generated) sounds like a parent saying ridiculous things trying desperately to cover the fact their kid is a dumbass.

It might be wishful thinking on my part, but I think I'm at least partly correct.
