He told us a while back about losing the job with the company.
He had a bunch already made so we got to see those but that was it.
    I just wasn't ready,
I guess it would be unreasonable to demand that he make more anyway.

I remember that, just didn't expect the end so soon.

    :(

@redravin nailed it- I basically ran out of material; I haven't done any new ones since I lost my job back in August.

While I'd love to continue the series, there are several obstacles in the way:

-Since I did this as a job, there was time to spend on it. Now, working another entirely different job- I have less time to concentrate on a regular webcomic.

-This was also a joint effort between my boss and myself; I'd need his blessing, but he's not talking to me (and many others in our circle) and is ignoring my texts since early September. I doubt he'd be pleased if I took the comic in a direction he wouldn't agree with, since he wouldn't have any input. I figure if I leave things as is, perhaps there's a tiny chance the comic could be resurrected down the road.

-I did all the work on a brand-new computer with state-of-the-art software. Now I don't have access to that computer, and my eleven-year old computer can't handle that load.

-Finally, I'm positive I'm developing carpal tunnel syndrome, thanks to my current job. I'm losing feeling in my fingertips and the rest of my hands feel like they're on fire. I'm not physically capable of turning out comics like I used to. (Back at my peak, I was cranking out five comics a day when we weren't doing other work!)

So, that said, I thank you guys for following this crazy ride for the past year or so. It was a lot of fun, and I miss it.

Get the carpel tunnel shit taken care of.
I kept working even when it got really bad, to a point where it was doing major damage to the nerves.
I got trigger finger and have tremors now because of it even after surgeries to fix it.

Let me try to condense a really long story into a few short sentences- I'm back with my buddy who created the comic, and although we're severely lacking in time, people and money resources, we're going to attempt to get the comic back rolling again soon.

It won't be a daily comic; but once we know where we're going, we'll shoot for at least once a week or so.

I don't know if we're picking up where we left off, or letting time pass, or rebooting the thing yet (still in the talks) - but I DO have some promotional pictures I'll post just to (hopefully) kick up the excitement again!

I am seriously falling behind on keeping this thread updated (but then again, it HAS been a rough couple of weeks lately) but here is another promotional panel...

Once the promotional panels are done, we'll be rolling out new stuff!

Sorry :(, I'm slow, live in a cave (with wi-fi),
    and require an explanation.

No problem, but which part needs explaining? :) (Not being sarcastic, I have no issue here.)

    Haiku.

I looked it up, a form of Japanese poetry, or an open source operating system.

Ah, you weren't around when I started posting haikus about a decade ago.

Posting mainly for laughs, of course. (Goes without saying that this is not part of the webcomic; I'll get back on that shortly.)
