"The courts shouldn't fall for the slight of hand."

The courts shouldn't tolerate the slight of hand at all.

Demand NPD Trump's legal team do their fucking homework, and present a legal & legitimate bond. The research, juggling, negotiating, & verification needs to be done before the bond is presented to the court.

As I see it, NPD Trump missed the bond deadline because the bond he posted was not properly arranged and verified. There could be several reasons for this. His legal team (and their people) is inexperienced and/or incompetent. Perhaps they also became desperate & rushed. It also possible they're trying to intentionally defraud the court.

Whatever the reasons this is on NPD Trump. If he can't afford (more likely refuses to pay for) top legal counsel he has to face the consequences of subpar legal representation. Just like many thousands of defendants who can't afford an experienced attorney with a large staff who can do things correctly and legally.

Start seizing his properties. If allowed by law put him in jail. Then see how quickly he finds attorneys who will get it right.

Hey, buddy, can you spare a dime?
    Maybe a nickel?

    https://www.politico.com/news/2024/04/17/trump-campaign-fundraising-five-percent-00152830

    I especially like this part:
“Any split that is higher than 5% will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump’s campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”

Hopefully the response will be silence, or angry laughter. How about a sending Agent Orange 45 a nickel?

It could encourage even more Repubs to separate themselves from NPD Trump. There must be some who have been monitoring his downward slide and moving away from him accordingly.

Nope, they're in it to win it.
At least the majority of them. Those that are not, are silenced or pushed away.

It's all about winning for their tribe. Us vs them. "The way of life"
    Any means to an end.

They're doubling down on the bet.

Judge rejects Trump effort to pause Jan. 6 civil lawsuits while criminal case ongoing

I'm losing track of all the cases.
But I hope this triggers a landslide, they all pile on...not waiting for the Supreme Court to weigh on prez immunity. (seems they're just lingering)

The other courts and judge are getting impatient. (although, I doubt Cannon is )

It's going to be an interesting Summer, with lots of twists and turns.

How will Chump handle the stress? Although, he'll keep going, like a cockroach...but you'll likely see him getting outraged more.

And will the overall public get tired of hearing his damn name all over.

I think the media is starting to smell blood...and the narrative is changing...swinging from winning to weakness.
Yes, they like a horse race...but they like controversy and chaos even more. If it bleeds, it leads.

'Logistical nightmare': NY Times reveals Secret Service is planning for Trump to be jailed

Now that would be interesting. :D
Obviously, he'd go to a white collar prison.

Certainly, no one would bother him

He'd probably end up using the SS as servants to get him things and run errands.
Going around the normal jail rules and policy to bully and convince guards and administrators into catering to him.

Then again, I could deal with the money spend for this.
Certainly would be a lot less than what they're spending already all the places he goes. (and the high-end locations the govt has to pay for the agents to stay at)

It's doubtful they'll jail him for this.
Most likely put on probation and a major fine.

Meadows, Giuliani and other Trump allies charged in Arizona 2020 election probe

And the hits just keep on coming in...
    Unindicted Co-conspirator. :D

Well, this isn't going to look good. I'm sure the media is really starting to smell blood.
And it will put extra anchors on everything else he's involved with. (the cases, the campaign, etc)

Hope it's political death by a 1000 cuts. (not real death, because I don't want the SS on knockin' on the door)

The strange thing is there two things that would end this mess.

NPD Trump dies (of ourse by natural causes, or pure accident).

NPD Trump loses his mind so severely and so publicly that even the stupidest magatards are forced to acknowledge it.

Judge fines Trump $9,000 for violating gag order in hush-money trial - live | Donald Trump trials | The Guardian

    It's a start...
But it's a pittance, what he profits from his loudmouth antics supersedes the minor penalty here.

Hopefully the judge truly does jail him next time.
But I doubt it. Just another fine most likely, perhaps to 90K. Which is still a pittance in comparison to his wealth and what he profits from.
How much does an ad cost???'

All of it free advertising. Even the news about this fine is.
Until they REALLY start holding him to the level he's playing at, he's not going to stop.

It's like fining a bank which profits (on paper, officially) 25 billion a quarter, for 25 million.
That's a one time penalty 1000 times less for 3 months profit. (and who knows what they truly made, unofficially)

If it can get him the presidency again, he'll do anything.

The guardians and guardrails are askew.
and this is the only thing Chump is good for, showing all the holes and weaknesses in the system and our agents/leaders.

Agent Orange can (he has a long history of doing so) get in front of the gullible, and frequently culpable, news media and turn the fines into fundraisers and campaign speeches.

Law Firm Defending Trump Seeks to Withdraw From a Long-Running Case

Is this rats swimming from a sinking ship?
Or are they fed up with him? (I'm sure they are...he's likely been this way from the start, but they're tired of making $$$ from him)
Or is he not paying bills?
    Or all of the above...

but this does seem to be a pattern lately.

Now, he'll more than likely get SOME desperate lawyer or law firm that wants cash or some notoriety .
The ship will keep afloat and floundering...all the way until the end. (He croaks or is jailed)
He'll get someone to give him money, some way, loans, kickbacks or other suckers.

I think it's interesting that much of the public considers him viable...but his own lawyers.

We're messed up as a nation.
Or is it we're just the same flawed humans as before...and those around the world for millennia.
Yep, the US is just as fucked up as any place else, any time else.
    No matter how powerful.

    This is how empires fall...
Corruption and fools on the inside.
SSDD - nothing new under the sun.

    From the article...
"The timing of the motion was notable, just two days after the same federal court had ordered the campaign to turn over in discovery all complaints of sexual harassment and gender or pregnancy discrimination from the 2016 and 2020 campaigns — materials that the defendants have long resisted handing over."

Would handing over this information be a smoking gun, & they don't want to lose? Perhaps they don't trust NPD Trump to fully cooperate? It could certainly be yet another disrupt & delay tactic.

I still think it "all the above", with many factors building up...and manipulations.
There's a reason the judge is asking for the firm to stay on for now.

But still, there is a pattern of lawyers leaving.
So not as likely a delay.
But it plays into Chump's hands and convenience.

If I know him better, he'll use it as an excuse not to pay.

Good lord, how was BF Borgers allowed to stay in business for so long?

Back when I worked for the company that distributed SEC filings the accuracy of the accounting was paramount to the analysts evaluating the stock. I have no idea if BF Borgers was around back then (quick search, their start date is hidden), but I have to wonder if analysts in general knew which accounting firms were known to be extra sketchy.

Judge finds Trump violated gag order again and threatened him with jail time

    A 10th time yet...
Turn it up to 11...and throw the narcissist in jail.

He's not going to learn until you do it. He cannot help himself.

And when are WE going to learn, stop giving this guy a break...and a platform, do the deed on justice.
He's taken advantage of every loophole and discretion that anyone's ever given him.

We're all a bunch of suckers to him.
    Including his fans and allies.

To hell with "the bad optics."
Show the world we're not scared to treat our crooked politicians as criminals.

    To hell with the fallout.
Show the world we're not scared to deal with armed protesters (actually...if any). Optics be damned.

Edit: I'm sick of these judges acting like p*ss**s.
