No kidding, my mom made it up. Back on AOL 1.x I was using Frosstbite (I'd tried Frostbite, but that was taken, so I did the internet thing and added an s), and she said, "Well, it's on the computer, so wouldn't it be more appropriate if you spelled 'bite' with a 'y' instead of an 'i'?" So I made Frosstbyte and I've just kind of stuck with it. It's my default username on most non-financial/personal internet websites like other forums or steam or what have you.

I'm a KISS fan and I wanted something kinda cool, God of Thunder it is.

The avatar is so that people don't confuse the name for that of Thor. Not that Thor isn't cool, but I got it from the KISS song, not the Norse god.

I think it was because I came to check out the porn, I must have had to register and choose a name to see more stuff, so feeling a bit guilty I went with that guiltiness and my name and since it was available, now that's me. In case anybody ever wondered or even knew about it, much later I discovered that there is another internet character now who has a blog called badnickblog, but I am not that one and he's a newb having only started in Aug '09. As far as I know, I'm the original BadNick.

 

Back in 92, my freshman year of University, it was landfill (because I passed out very easily when drinking) shortened to Fill ("with an F" they would say). 23 is day of birthday and ca because I'm Canadian.

At the time I made my first account here I was studying to be a pilot in North Dakota. So Flatland Flyer is what I came up with.

I just picked mine at random, its after a rapper I liked in the early 2000's when I joined (although tbh I still like his music)

On the first online community I took part in I was "Champagne Chris Kanyon" and I fancied a change from that.

 

It is a sad, sad fact. It's made all the sadder in that it's been six or seven years since I first pointed this out and he still hasn't read Dune.

 

Suprised me EventHorizon - I thought it was because of the movie of that name.
Me, its my dogs obviously. Sometimes I am The Naked Dog Lady - although I think people expecting me naked would be relieved to find me dressed. To one group - they named me 'the peacock hunter', and introduce me as such - then add my name - but its a world where reputation is earned and guarded, and people are known more for what they have done than an ordinary label.

I found a banned user's name that fit me, gutted it of it's original identity and moved in like an electronic hermit crab.

It's worked out pretty well. My original form was far too unique to thwart Google searches for personal information.

 

Eons ago (dial-up time) I was a scout leader and lived in South Bend, so sbscout seemed logical. Too lazy to change it and the towels are all monogrammed...

 

Mos of you probably already know about my username. However for those of you who don't. Magpie was a nickname Martin gave to me when we first met.

Arkana is my new nickname, after my band, but you probably know that from me trying to sell my albums and get you to come to my gigs (back when I was aberkok). It's just a version of "arcane" or "arcana," which means magical and mystical things.
