I got POd when the Texans gave up the late TD, went to take shower. My wife told me they scored a TD & a penalty was called on...the Bucs. I looked up the official NFL highlights...they left out the Texans winning TD!!!!

Stroud certainly looks like a real NFL QB. I don't have any crazy expectations, but 4-4 at this point works for me.

Now the Eagles need to hang on for the win over the 'girls.

Which Bengals team will the Bills play?

The Eagles tried to give away the game, esp on the girls' last drive, but the girls couldn't accept the gift. I'm glad the girls lost...but...what was with the lack of urgency in the last few minutes?

The ready-to-win Bengals showed up tonight. The Bills could end up determining their own PO fate in the last three games, or maybe not if the Dolphins remain hot.

The Bills are a mediocrity at this point.
I see a new OC in our future.
Dorsey is not getting the job done despite having a ton of talent on offense.
    The play calling is atrocious.

The Vikings might be willing to let Rick "Teflon" Dennison go  :p.

Edit: I'm happy for Stroud & the Texans, but all the people talking about Stroud & a playoff run need to look at the Panthers game...which happened after a bye week. We're better, but let's not break out the champagne just yet.

The Bills should get a home win against the Broncos.

The Texans should get a good test on the road against the Bengals. I can see the Texans having a huge let down after letting the Bucs game go to their head.

    ***** College

Rumor is A&M Aggies might fire Jimbo Fisher today.

I'm now starting to wonder how much longer the UH is going to keep Holgorsen. Continuing to hope he can (miraculously) turn it around might be a matter of $$$.

The Broncos gladly took the Bills gift.

Bills: Sack, puts Broncos out of FG range.
    Bills: 28 yard PI penalty.
Broncos: Missed FG from 41 yards.
Bills: 12 men on the field penalty.
Broncos: Hit FG from the 36.

Dorsey is out, but changing OCs every year or two doesn't sound like a good solution.

Josh certainly didn't have a great game last night, but to his credit (sort of) he did get the lead back late in the game. To my knowledge Josh wasn't on the field when the Bills D gave the game away.

The Texans very nearly had another loss to a seriously bad team, the Cardinals. I'm not jumping on the PO bandwagon, but it's nice to have a winning team for a change.

Fans of the Chicago Bears must be going crazy...or they're used to being disappointed by the Bears.

It was good to see the Bills winning decisively, even it was the Jets. The big issue is the hole they're in, & the four really good teams they will face down the stretch.

Damned Cougars lost again. Supposedly Holgorsen has two years to get the Cougs on track in the Big 12.

The Houston Dynamo are still alive in the MLS Cup POs.

The Bills next 2 games are on the road against Philly and the Chiefs.
They have to win at least one.
With no Burrow for the rest of the year the door has cracked opened a bit more for the Bills.

The Eagles at the Chiefs turned out to be a pretty sloppy game. At least the Eagles won (thank you, Valdes-Scantling).

    That was some drop.
Suddenly the AFC doesn't look so daunting.
The idiot Bills just need to make the playoffs.
The Bengals aren't going anywhere without Burrow and the Chiefs are beatable, as are the Dolphins.

The Bills are 2-2 in the division & 3-5 in the conference. They're going to need some key wins, some collapses by the top AFC teams, & luck.

I'm 0-2 today. The Lions did not look like an 8-2 team, the Commanders looked like a 0-17 team (not that I had any thoughts they'd actually win today).

Maybe the Seahwaks v 49ers will be a close game.

Very disappointing game today. I'm reminding myself of two things: FGs over 50 yards are not guaranteed for most NFL kickers, & the Texans & Stroud weren't supposed to be at this level this quickly.

One disturbing trend with the Texans is Stroud throwing long passes on 3rd & short, Ryans & Slowik need to stop that habit now. With that said someone called an ill-advised long pass on 3rd & half-yard. Which lead to the (tying) FG missing by inches.

Edit: The game also had some bizarre officiating.

Sorry, @fflowley, I have to root for the Eagles. Anything to keep the Cowgirls from winning the division.

Cougars lost again; will Holgorsen get his 2nd year chance in the Big 12?.

At least the Aggies also lost.

    But the Longhorns won...big...really big.

The Bills drove me crazy in the first quarter with disgusting levels of stupid.......but somehow now ahead at the half.
    Fingers crossed.

The Eagles finally woke up in the 2nd half...but the way they kept shooting themselves in the foot on the tying FG drove me crazy. Note: I like Romo as an analyst, but it was nice to hear him squirm after the Eagles hit the FG.

This was a nail-biter, despite long & slow 1st half (it felt that way to me, & esp my wife who isn't a FB fan). Hurts was about as focused and as calm as a QB can be on the winning drive.
