    The thing about a bowtie is that the extra few moments it takes makes it look much more complicated than it really is. The instruction videos on YouTube were quite helpful when first starting out. Combine with lots of practice every few days or so, and you'll master it in no time. The trick after that is to just wear one every so often, if it doesn't become natural to wear them frequently, so that you don't forget how it's done.

    To those against Fedoras:
    I rest my case. ;-)

    Well, that's my usual choice for casual. Though, I need to get a new one, as my only two are getting a bit ratty. (Like an old armchair.) I do my best work in my cardigans, but I don't really have any "dress cardigans."

    Now that I think of it, I need to get one or two for that purpose: a cardigan over a shirt and tie.

    I need to go shopping soon.
