Trump watched Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot unfold on TV, ignored pleas to call for peace

Trump refuses to say in a TV interview how he watched the Jan. 6 attack unfold at the US Capitol

Fact-checking Trump's 'Meet the Press' interview

These articles aren't actually about his pending trial (date), but are definitely related.

One question NPD Trump needs to consider, which I'm sure his attorneys have mentioned, is how will his version of the three hours compare to the testimony of others who saw his (in)actions?

A question I have is why is NPD Trump as criminal defendant allowed to be on TV planting seeds of doubt about his upcoming trial?

The thing is, every one these things he does, they can use against him in court.
So I say, as much as I really hate it, let him ramble on.

Judge to weigh imposing partial gag order against Trump in election-interference case — NPR

    WTF is she waiting for???
    He’s obviously violated the orders

I hate this spineless jellyfish lollygagging
She’s supposed to be firm on Jan 6th miscreants
    But here…

We’ve got one judge giving Chump every benefit of the doubt… (the docs case) stringing it out with delays.

And here, the supposed strong one, not getting him to STFU

I understand he has 1st amendment rights
But it’s easy enough to see the distinction between normal statements
And the intimidating hyperbole he’s spitting out.

Man, this saga is longer than a damn soap opera.

    See something, say something
Then friggin’ ACT if they misbehave

    Followup...FINALLY
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...16/trump-court-hearing-judge-gag-order-jan-6/

Now, let's see if it's enforced.
Because he WILL push the boundaries, if not immediately go beyond.
    It's his pattern and M.O.

Chump is pushing EVERY standard and official he can.
    Showing the holes and weakness.
This is a historical stress test.

I'm not sure Chutkin can go as strict as everyone would like.

The assdragging got old a long time ago.

Enforcement. Which judge will be the first to use the judicial hammer?

I would love to see NPD Trump treated as a common criminal, in jail with common criminals (the book The Bonfire of the Vanities comes to mind). We know that isn't going to happen.

All of this How to handle an XPOTUS? handwringing crap needs to stop. I'm sure bad optics are one of the considerations, & I say to hell with how it looks. Right now we're no better than some second & third world countries when comes to punishing crooked politicians. Hell, some of them track the bastards down and do away with the need for ugly & expensive trials.

"Mark Meadows? I barely spoke to the guy. Many many people say he was the worst Chief of Staff ever. Total RINO."

ACLU: Trump’s gag order in federal case is unconstitutional — POLITICO

Meanwhile, the ACLU decides to aim a shot to the balls of Democracy

Yes, let’s let a demagogue instigating sedition and attacking the court staffers in media to provoke doubt and violence

And help someone who may overthrow that very nation, laws and constitution that allows the ACLU to exist, those rights they defend and kill democracy.

I tell ya, I don’t mind the group but damn they take the most surreal positions at times.

No, Chump does NOT have the right to say what he wants always. Not when he’s encouraging violence, rebellion and attacking others.

This is taking an idea to an extreme.

The thing is NPD Trump never makes a direct threat, or gives exect orders to act. His remarks regarding Gen. Milley are a threat and a call to action, but not directly.

I'm with the courts, shut him up and shut him down.

Judge reinstates gag order against Trump

Please, just put a muzzle on the guy.

Frankly, it's not the gag order itself...it's whether she'll enforce it.
The appeal will likely fail, he's shown repeatedly that he WILL do it...and the fact, she's given his lawyers time to argue it further...and still felt the need to reapply it.
She's actually being not as firm or aggressive as the NY fraud judge.

Trump asks Judge Chutkan to pause 'all proceedings' in D.C. elections case

    Delay, delay, delay
Anything and everything to try to get it thrown out.
    Yet again

Nope, Mr. Chump, you're not above the law,
This was NOT in your duties of president. (not just "while" you're prez)

What do ya think Nixon resigned for??? He figured it out. It was so, he wouldn't get indicted.

    No soup for you.
Unlike your Florida judge, this one is willing to make sure you see your day in court.

Judge Chutkan is serving notice to Trump that she is speeding up his trial: legal analyst

Oh yes, put the peddle to the metal! :D

The sooner, the better. Things have lingered long enough.

Make ya a bet this will make Chump and his lawyers make mistakes. They're used to getting delays and taking as much time as possible.

I also bet, that judge Cannon will use this as an excuse to delay the secret docs case.
She's the complete opposite of judge Chutkan.
