    Well, granted, you can't go off and leave a dog alone for a weekend because they don't use litter boxes. But you can have someone come over to walk them and they will be fine. Been there, done that.

    But as far as needing you when you are around, I don't find that cats are less demanding than dogs.

    Fortunately my parents are always willing to watch Stanley for any length of time, the only difficulty is driving him almost an hour over there.

    As far as the cat, her neediness comes in short spurts. Unfortunately those short spurts often occur at about 5AM.

    I get to book flights today for two trips that will be incredibly fun (though for different reasons). Looks like my March is shaping up to be a great month! Oh, and my January ranks me #17 out of 130 brokers here. Woohoo!

    Congrats. Going anywhere interesting?

    My wife woke up this morning and said "I was having a horrible nightmare." She went on to tell me that she was dreaming that we were married, but I also had another wife who was really hot, and the two of them were both trying to have sex with me, basically fighting over me. She also said part of the dream was a search for a 3rd wife for me. My response was "I thought you said it was a nightmare." :p

    I'm going to Stowe, VT with one of my coworkers as guests of an underwriter. Normally that wouldn't be a good use of my time, but this particular company does a ton of business with my potential clients (retailer agents), so there will be a bunch of them there as well. Even better - ski races. There's a competitive slalom that we'll compete in as a team.

    Then I'm headed to the West Coast the next week with one of my all-time favorite clients to talk to some of his clients about renewals and new opportunities, including something that's really cool and will be worth a lot of money. I'm even planning on a little side fun on that trip too, if things work out the way I think they will.

    The campus is closed today because of all the flooding in my area so no work for me I took a shower and put on my forever lazy suit! It's so comfy

    I should probably be productive with this bonus day off, but everything I want to do (mostly move furniture around) is really loud and I have a roommate who works nights and sleeps days
