how did you come up with your user name?

Excellent movie! I saw part of it in a film appreciation class in college and then went home and downloaded the torrent and burned it to a DVD.

My name is simply that I have a cruiser, a '75 Bayliner Victoria Sunbridge 2750. So I'm the captain. My name is Robert.
Being captain doesn't give me any special authority. I'm outranked by my sweetie, who is "The Admiral".
I'm in charge of the galley because the old alcohol stove is tricky to operate and "The Admiral" might burn up the boat.
Besides being "deck fluff", "The Admiral" occasionally has to catch the dock with the boat hook. If that happens, the captain is in trouble!

 

I'm from Jersey, pretty simple.

 

Its a name I usually use online. In Serial Experiments Lain, Mewmew is a 9-year-old hacker who always hangs out in a dance club with her friends. She was my favorite character in the entire series, even though she didn't play a very critical role in the overall story.

I found this site years ago.. asked for a username.. Simply put I looked at all my D&D figures on the shelf .. saw a Drider put _it with it ..and vola!!

 

It's my dog's name. Netvor Fena is Slovak (my husband's paternal heritage) for Monster Bitch. She is a Brindle English Mastiff. She just turned a year old and is up to 150 lbs and 36" tall at the withers. In fact that's her in my Avatar but she's laying on her back and her flews are falling up away from her teeth, showing them. She's a complete chicken and peed herself while running away from a little 4lb Shorkie.

Withers = the ridge between the shoulder-blades of a four-legged animal. In many species it is the tallest point of the body and in horses and dogs it is the standard place to measure the animal's height.

Well why are you called moose?

 

That, too, is less than thrilling. When I hit puberty, I began to grow notably taller and broader than my contemporaries in 4th/5th grade. My cousin and later my brother decided to call me Moose, and it stuck. Now, at 34 (33 and 365 days, anyway), I think more people--my parents included--know me by my nickname than my legal name.

 

And here I always thought it had something to do with rice krispies. (They do "ktspktsp" when you add milk.)

I chose ItWasMe so I could add "but you'll never prove it" in my sigtag. Did I ever remember to do that?
