I have to unrant my Dell rant. In a classic case of under promising and over delivering, D got her ac adapter today. Crisis averted. Stress levels lowered.

I can finally breathe easy for the first time in a week. Stupid student loans.

 

Stress is not our friend

 

Ain't that the true. I've been pissing acid for the past five days. It's been pretty pleasant. I suppose the fact hat I lost almost 5 pounds because I wasn't eating anything shouldn't make me feel any better.

 

The 3 year old absolutely HAS to play with the iPod touch when she sees it, at least according to her. She saw the colouring book type app on there and is quite fond of it.

 

We have a new Head Advisor and we'll be getting a new Dean. I hope that we'll be getting a new receptionist. She's just AWFUL!

 

I suspect the 3 year old will have her DAP on shuffle when she gets older. She changes CDs every five minutes and climbs like a cute little monkey to reach the stereo in her room.

 

Major getting a critical piece of paperwork pertaining to me in late: expected
Stats class confusing me: manageable
construction noises and vibrations going on one floor below me for a semester: unacceptable
the fact that in retrospect, none of this shit bothers me because i'm getting paid to go to school: priceless

 

Egads - Another sign that the world is ending. Or perhaps just another reminder of why the hell I ignore most of what falls under 'pop culture' these days.
Hopefully her voice is better than her face. Not even a "butter face" as she has nothing attractive about her even by the shallow entertainment standards these days.
