TV, SHAMELESS AND CALIFORNICATION

Anyone watch these shows, we can't wait for the new season...totally OUTRAGEOUS..

 

Californication is a great show. I just wish it was on CBS or NBC (uncensored of course).

 

Shameless is a magnificent show. I haven't seen californication for a long time though :\

 

Both Shameless and Californication premiere this Sunday, January 8 at 8c/9e and 9:30c/10:30 e on Showtime.
I love Shameless because it's funny and raunchy and well-acted and 50% made in Chicago. And Emmy Rossum goes naked a lot.
Californication...I started watching because of the sequence of it, Shameless and Episodes, which premiered last season. Episodes was beyond awful and to me, Californication is a guy's show. I like Duchovny and his trademark dry wit but he's a 50-year-old guy getting it on with chicks who look like teenagers. There's defo an ick factor there.

I have a chance to watch a few of these shows this weekend with the Showtime free preview on DirecTv, but the times I've seen them on the other previews, they weren't all that good, to me.
Just excuses to show drug use and T&A.
While the latter doesn't bother me one whit, I just don't want to sit through a series about dependency of one sort or the other.

 

I totally get that.
The father in Shameless is only a step from the gutter.

 

This show (Shameless) is totally outrageous, we can't wait for it to get into the new season, William Macy is so believable as a total drunk.
As for Californication, another outrageous show...these 2 are the reason we keep Showtime.
AND, THIS IS A TV SHOW its a story for S**T sake...lighten up

 

I'm not allowed to link to my blog but believe me, it's as R-rated as the shows are. (Last year, Showtime gave me screeners and swag for giveaways for both shows.)
I still don't care for Duchonvy's (literally) saggy ass but the kid actors on Shameless --all awesome. Joanie Cusak--best role for her in a long time and of course Bill Macy--as an actor he's a master craftsman.

 

I watched the first couple seasons of Californication but gave up on it. I liked the supporting cast but I couldn't tolerate Duchovny any further.
