Hot and humid the past week. Temps in the 90s. Rain due tomorrow, possibly severe storms in the afternoon. Stay safe everyone.

The weather went from sunny & beautiful to dark & ugly in about two minutes flat.
Which made my sinuses scream in pain.
It's great fun being a human barometer.
What I'm working at now is making sure it doesn't turn into a migraine.

Looks like the heavy stuff will miss us. Hopefully, we get a soaking rain at least.

Well, slept through the tornado warning. Got lots of wind and heavy rain but fortunately, the tornado passed about 4 miles north and 5 miles east of us. As of this morning, no deaths, thankfully, and only one person in critical condition.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

Two nights ago, we were sweltering hot at bedtime (we don't have AC, it's rare to need it here).
Last night I slept in my winter flannel pajamas.
    Incredible change over 24 hours.
It was 43F when I left for work this morning.

Weekend starts out rainy and will stay that way. Over 50% chance of rain every day of next week as well. I'm sorry western US TFPers. It appears we're getting all your rain lately.

I think it's finally stopped raining. Now, just humid. Holiday weekend looks great though. Low 80's.

I'm getting webbed feet. We've gotten rain in probably four days out of seven for the last two months.

    Or longer.

    It seems longer.

    Much longer.

When did Texas move to the PNW?

We had a tornado yesterday evening...we had something go through. (power out, fire alarm went off, etc)
Looked like I was in a carwash outside my window.
    Lots of tree damage.

Surprisingly, the boats at the marina were fine. Not touched.
Guess it helps to not resist and go with the flow.

It has been like living in a tropical rain forest here during the month of July.
Extremely high humidity, and it rains almost every day.
    Not our ideal summer.

We've had our first series of over 80F days in what has been a fairly mild summer.
A lot of people are thrilled.
    Me not so much.
Way to damned hot for my Alaskan blood.
