    Japchae Very Tilted

I'll complain about the 45* weather as I got in my car this morning.
There's nothing to better indicate the weather outside the warmth and weight of the comforter than two overly-affectionate, drooling Bengals. They only want under the comforter when it's cold. And they only drool when they're feeling really lovey. But now, in my office, I'm sooo cold. :(

  2. A little freezing rain overnight. Walked out to get the morning paper and turned into a ballerina on the driveway.

Hopefully you didn't dent your tutu.

I ordered two new Wii games for the big boys last night, with a microphone. Since my sister-in-law decided she hated us and gave the middle one an electronic drum kit and we decided we hated us and gave him a microphone with a stand, things have been very "musical" in my house. Despite everyone hating Justin Beiber, that little shit's stuff has been sung constantly. Maybe this will get them to learn some better music.

Once my in-laws came to visit and brought our (then) 4 year old nephew (their grandson, it's the wife's sister's son) with them. He loves music. I love irritating my father-in-law. Just as they were getting in the car and leaving I presented my nephew with a gift for the 2 hour ride home. It was a play guitar that, depending on what button you played, same the five same riffs over and over again. I looked at my FIL and said "Have a safe and fun ride home."

Pretty sure my brownie points went even further in the negative with him on that one.

This is a fun topic of conversation in my family, on both sides. Everyone agrees toys that make noise suck. I'm pretty much of the mind that if it takes batteries, it's going back to the store.

We've been debating about buying a copy of Settlers of Catan. My husband says we can as soon as we play all of the expansions we got for Carcassonne for Christmas--I got him the Princess and the Dragon and his brother got him Inns and Cathedrals.

I don't want to go back to work. I want to stay home and play games.

I'd love to play Settlers of Catan, but I have no one near me that's into those types of board games.
Mostly Monopoly or Scrabble, which I enjoy, but a little variety needs to be had.
I'm also in the mood for a good and dirty game of Risk.

I would love to play some Risk. It's been years since I've been involved in a good game, I used to have a group of friends that would get together and play every few weeks. I love the strategy involved, both on the board and off.
