    I enjoy the chat, I'm usually in it on Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays during the morning-afternoon PST while I play minecraft or Go.

    Chat's fixed up. The colours now match the colour scheme on our main site.

    On my to-do list for chat:

    - enable webcams (requires involvement from a third party provider)
    - enable some sort of cross-site authentication (needs to be custom built from the looks of it)

    Please do note in the interim that if you'd like to make sure nobody's impersonating you in chat, the easiest way to do that is to register. You'll find the button at the bottom of the prochatrooms login screen, and it will allow you to set a password there to prevent unauthorized access.

    I know it's a pain to have to log in twice guys, and I'm working on it. I'll have this fixed as soon as I can.

    yes, I was working on getting security working and killed it by mistake. I don't have access to the server at the office, so I'll get on it when I get back home or Martian beats me to it.

    just a peek behind the curtains for everyone else and some funny banter for Martian and me, but the part I was working on had a button to make a backup, and a button to load a backup, and finally one to save the configuration. If you save it and it hoses the configuration and you can't access the load the backup button, what good is it?

    We will also be tying authentication to the forum asap, which will prevent that kind of thing in the future.

    I've not ever been to the 5.0 chat, almost never in 4.0, 8 years ago.
    I'm not a chat person and I won't use a cam, ever for anyone.
    I'm shy, but I'm also not comfortable with the format. It mirrors not my enjoying actively interacting in large-ish groups (more than 8 people) at a given time, off-line.
