2011-12 NCAAF Bowl Games

So the BCS is ridiculous...we know. Let's at least TRY to get excited about some college football bowls.

What games are you excited about, if any? Is your school in a bowl? (Miami U, alma mater, and Oregon State, employer, are not.) Which ones seem like actual good games? Which ones are going to be hard/boring to watch? Who are you rooting for, LSU or 'Bama? (Me, LSU)

Personally I am excited about the Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl (I hate the names of these things). I am happy to see a rematch of the 2007 National Championship. It'll be nice to see the Gators whoop up on the Buckeyes sans Tebow.

As a new Beaver, I hope that Wisconsin hands it to the Ducks.

I'm going to go with a MAC school, Northern Illinois, of course to win the GoDaddy bowl. If OU would have been the MAC Champions, I wouldn't have chosen them. Fuck the Bobcats. Also, Fuck Marshall. GO Florida International!

Sure the BCS sucks.. but the title game is going to be awesome. The Bama/LSU game in the regular season was a great one, and it will be interesting to see if Saban (hate that dude) can outwit Miles this go round. I think LSU will come out on top, but you never know when you're up against a team like 'Bama.

I'm excited for the Citrus Bowl also. I love watching Fl. State shove it to those catholic boys and I'm hoping a solid bowl win will help put Fl. State back on top where they belong.

Anyone beating the buckeyes is a good game.

OSU will probably blow out Stanford. Luck just can't do everything on his own.

Va. Tech has a habit of choking in the bowl games, but I think they'll handle Michigan with their special teams play.

Clemson is going to roll W. Va.

 

I'd like to see the Seminoles back on top too.

 

The regular season Bama/LSU game was the biggest snooze fest of all time, and will be no different in round two.

Hoping to see my Buckeyes rejuvenated with Urban Meyer on the payroll to lay a long-overdue smacking on Florida. Also hoping that Wisconsin slaps the shit out of Oregon to prove to the world that the PAC-Whatever blows.

Actually, I do root for Miami if they ever make a bowl game...

 

Ohio pulled it out and won our first bowl game in history. Great job, Bobcats!
