    Or at least that's what I'm guessing I'll be told when the wife gets home tonight. :p

    I went in to grab a bottle of wine and maybe a 4-pack of Dogfish Head. So at least I got what I went in there for. :D

    Left to right in the back row:
    Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon
    Hop Juice (Two Brothers Brewing) - 2 bottles
    Thirteenth Hour (Sam Adams)
    Squall IPA (Dogfish Head) - 2 bottles
    New World Tripel (Sam Adams) - 2 bottles
    Firestone Fifteenth Anniversary Ale - bottle next to box
    King Estate Signature Collection 2007 Pinot Noir

    The middle three are:
    Dragon's Milk (New Holland Brewing) - 4pk
    Cherry Chocolate Beer (O'Fallon) - 6pk
    90 Minute IPA - (Dogfish Head) - 4pk

    In front is Double Trouble Ale (Founder's Brewing) - 4pk

    On the bright side, I don't think I'll need to buy any beer for a while.

    I was thinking the same thing. That stuff might last a week in my house. Two weeks maybe if it were just me drinking it. Who am I kidding? It would be gone this weekend.

    Mmmm Kentucky Bourbon makes me miss home.

    The Cherry Chocolate Beer sounds kind of....gross....let me know what you think after you had a sip. Have you had it before?

    Keep in mind that most of those beers have 9-12% alcohol and the entire back row are large bottles (most are ~25oz). So each of those bottles in the back are individually equal to the alcohol content of almost a six pack of what most mainstream beers.

    And no ZombieSquirrel, I've not had the Cherry Chocolate yet, though I've tried Cherry beers (like SA Cherry Wheat) and usually like them. They typically have cherry flavor without being sweet. I've also had quite a few chocolate bochs that are good, and again they have a chocolate flavor without being sweet. Maybe I'll try that one first just for you. ;)

    I drink a minimum of 6 beers a night .. that's if I'm not drinking liquor. Yet, all of my bloodwork and physicals are passed with flying colors. I bet if I stopped drinking, I'd be dead in a week.

    I'm also imagining the_jazz decked out in a Bengals snuggie wearing a collar and holding a butt plug.

    Yeah, I'm adopting the Glory's Sun model of imbibing alcoholic beverages. However, I'm actually going to take the two months to ween myself onto it, starting with one drink a day and then increasing it by a drink a day every two weeks.

    You try having six months of winter, vast unbridled hinterlands, and free health care. If it weren't for booze and inventive uses for pork and other foodstuffs, we'd be more like you guys in "Canada's shorts."

    I've had my fair share of Cherry Wheats (I do love that Sam Adams Cherry Wheat) and Chocolate Stouts....but never a cherry-chocolate beer. I am intrigued and look forward to hearing your opinion.

    Oh, I'd take the Bengals garb off right away....because I would NOT want you wearing it. They have enough problems.
