I have a feeling most who haven’t decided are those that aren’t “involved” and don’t really care.
I’ve had quite a few friends that just exist and no ideas about who’s who or politics.
They know more about their favorite rockers, for instance.

When did you meet my wife?

Seriously, politics bores my wife to sleep. She whines nonverbally if I watch a news program that's outside of the usual 5:00pm to 6:30pm.

Yes, it's challenging to have a friend or family member supporting him.
Even more difficult when they actually argue for him.
I cut most of them off.
But the best you can do is spit out the facts...and ignore the absurdities.
And remind them to keep it civil...because they'll often get mean.

    Good reference.

I'm even having a tough time with my more compassionate friends.
They are the ones that might be called by less kind as hippy dippy but they are truly loving and kind.
They have dedicated their lives to helping people who have disabilities and only want to do the best possible thing.
But hatred and anger makes them uncomfortable.
They see what is coming from The Impeached 45's side and are upset by it.
They will vote against him of course.
But they post things like, "It isn't healthy to hate." "A party that does nothing but attack won't make things better."
    They mean well I know.
    BUT FUCKKKKKK!!!!@!
45 and his supporters would put you in camps if they could.
They would sterilize me and while they would be happy the make sure the babies with disabilities were born, they sure as fuck wouldn't do anything to support them in any way after that.
There are some situations where hate and anger are valid.
It is fucking necessary to survive.
    This is one of them.

I have a lot of the same types of friends. Well, there are two types, the apolitical ones who want to hang out at bars and around campfires, but shun any political topics and think things just work out.

And the other ones who think that we need to learn how to talk to the other side and work on listening to them. And I'm like... what realit ae you living in that this would work? How would this stop Rush, Fox News, 4 Chan, OANN, and the rest of the right wing media propaganda from changing society and the government?

    Pasta du jour - Spaghetti
Because that's what he's on the hot plate for at the moment...and it looks like Spaghetti

The first is the NYT's reason for putting it out...the 2nd is a good summary.

An NYT Editor’s Note on the Trump Tax Investigation

18 Revelations From a Trove of Trump Tax Records

Just wait until his son Eric is required to speak on it in court soon (required by the judge by Oct. 7th)
This is NOT going to help
And since it's a NY state matter, T doesn't get any prez protections or influence.

    The heat is getting higher...

Even some long time ultra conservatives are saying "get him out of there" (Ann Coulter???)

Now that’s funny...he’s got a wry sense of humor

I know this has likely thrown the campaign in a tizzy
And Trump himself, being the germaphobe, he is.

BTW, I don’t think he’s faking it as some are saying

he’s all about image and showing strength...
    He’d never allow it.
His ego wouldn’t deal with any show of weakness or being wrong.
    No losers in his mindset.

BUT... I will Followup with this
It’s his habit to minimize things...
So if they’re saying that he’s showing minimal symptoms,
    There’s a likely chance that it’s worse.
Now, that IS something he’d lie about.

My conspiracy theory is that if he doesn't survive, he might be faking it to escape the humiliation of losing the election and getting out of paying the $420 million he owes. He could live out the rest of his life on some deserted tropical island that has a golf course.

You know Conman is going to downplay the extreme--and free--medical treatment he received. It'll be "I beat COVID-19, it's nothing to worry about."

Oh, wait, he did send a tweet implying the above.

    Yes
And now all the families that lost someone are angry
    Because he’s minimizing it

In a deadly crisis, you don’t wanna say, “Ain’t no thing”
