This election really will decide whether or not we remain a democratic republic or not. This country already teeters on the edge with half the Congress, the Justice department and 1/3 of the population supporting installment of a dictator so this is going to define what we become.

Democrats build big edge in early voting

Then good...need more, a LOT more.
It needs to be a tidal wave.

So we don’t have an idiot like T anytime soon
And the GOP is bitchslapped hard enough that they get out of the Snidely Whiplash mode.

We need integrity, ingrained into people’s mind.

Like some nations learned after going down the dark side.

Confidence Interval: Will Texas Go Blue In 2020?

That would be a BIG nail in the political coffin for T
    Good points

But if anything, it's making T's team distracted and needing to work that typically "safe" state.
Those resources, time and mind could be placed elsewhere...so they're playing defense.

Texas going Democrat? Don't hold your breath. But it's good to know we're draining resources and attention.

    The conman
    promising a COVID-19 vaccine
    before the 2020 election

    is the same conman
who in 2016 promised Mexico would
    pay for the border wall.

I watched. It was the most pathetic excuse for a debate I've ever seen.

A large part of the blame falls on Chris Wallace, although making Shyster shut up and follow the rules might've been impossible. The ability to turn off the mics wouldn't stop Conman Trump from interrupting, but a Cone Of Silence would come in handy.

Not that Biden didn't interrupt Shyster Trump, he just did so much less often.

If any undecided voters saw how Conman Trump conducted himself, and are still undecided, they're closet Trump supporters anyway.

It seems some rule changes will be forthcoming, and will be nonnegotiable. Biden's camp has already said OK. I'm willing to bet good (small) money Trump will cry foul and pull out of the debates.

A few descriptions and explanations of Trump's behavior I read: Bully. Spoiled brat. Childish. Someone who has never heard/doesn't like hearing the word no.

I can't see Trump deciding not to show up and not wanting to improve on that debate performance though.

Chris Wallace thought it was going to be like an interview, and that Trump was going to pretend to be President and have respect for the debates.

If by "improving" you mean intensifying his bull in a china shop routine, sure.

If you mean being civilized and actually answering questions, and letting Biden answer questions, no, Conman Trump doesn't want that. I'm not sure he's capable of doing so. It has to be about Trump.

Probably need to use a Shock Collar instead...connected to a timer as well as to a control in the moderator's hand.

Hell, this week's debate actually shows how much he behaved himself in the ones with Hillary.
    He's actually gotten rabid.

My wife is not much for politics, but when i watched the debate the other night, she said it reminded her of the movie Grumpy Old Men. And i kinda agree with her.

    poor Chris Wallace.

Big news that could cause Conman Trump serious problems: It's reported, and he has tweeted, that he and Trophy Wife have tested positive for Corona Virus.

If he is sidelined, which he certainly should be even against his will, and survives, he'll have yet another excuse for losing the election.

How long before the Conman and the Republicans start screaming a delay in the election?
I say no way, he brought this on himself, let him pay the price. This would be a very bad time for the Democrats and Biden to play nice, even if doing so places them in a good light.
