Did the online (except for one thing that I am going to get after I get through my mail) shopping yesterday.... Physical shopping today.

My shopping is more or less done. Waiting to hear back from my brother-in-law about our plan for Grandma and Grandpa's gifts, but otherwise, I've got presents galore for my husband, something for my MIL, something for the FIL, and that's good enough. My own parents are getting a nice card and a gift card to our favorite brewpub, but I haven't bought either yet. They will get the gift card when I see them next, and who knows when that will be.

It's an interesting experience to try to write a paper about multiple intelligences while
coming off of a three-day experience with acetyl-l-carnitine, in between doses of
    Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom formula.
I was going to try to give S the Woodcock-Johnson III Test of Cognitive Abilities today,
but he got club seats to the Jags-Bucs game.
Which is just as well, because I swear the cat just spoke to me in Sean Connery's voice.

If I have to take that test again in this lifetime, it will be too soon.

I am tempted to go make more crepes. They were so good.

Yet again, a bunny wabbit makes a fool out of my dog.
Somehow, the wabbit circled around my beagle and chased her!

    /I need a better camera

  10. Gotta get a "me too" in for ya, phil. Many happy returns, my friend!

I'm liking this Kinect Adventures. Finding it to be a pretty good beginner cardio routine.
Might check out one of the fitness titles.

  13. Welcome to my weekly dose of disappointment and sadness. I learned a long time ago to not bet on them though.

As of "right now" Fremen has 666 posts. This might be proof that he is in cahoots with the local not sad "Bot that must not be named"

  15. Always use the proper names for things. Fear of a name increases fear of the thing itself.

Yeah. I said it. What are you going to do Happy Posting Bot? Bring it!

That brought that this oldie but goodie to mind....
"Yes, yes. I thought I'd be seeing you soon. Harry Potter." It wasn't a question. "You have your mother's eyes. It seems only yesterday she was in here herself, buying her first wang. Ten and a quarter inches long, swishy, made of willow. Nice wang for charm work."
"Your father, on the other hand, favored a mahogany wang. Eleven inches. "
    ---
Then, with a sigh, he raised his wang and prodded the silvery substance with its tip.

Oh damn, I was going to post another post to get 667 right after I reached 666, but I got sidetracked watching football. :)

    I feel you guy's pain.
I caught the tail-end of that game and when I saw the score, I thought of you, ZS, and was hoping the Bengals would win, even though they were playing the Texans. But, alas...

Anyway, I ran across this earlier and thought it might make you smile.

So...I'm now faceyspace friends with one of my flippin' MANAGERS. I wanted to get in on the restaurant's FB page, maybe be able to add the "social networking for a corporate business" thing to my resume. He was like, "yeah, just friend me, and I'll add you as an admin."

    Filter, filter, filter.
