    Ugh, watching Evan Lysacek skate to Tchaikovsky's "Pas de deux" from The Nutcracker Suite, and someone did a terrible job editing the music to be shorter for television.

    Way to ruin one of my favorite pieces of classical music, nameless person.

    Still dealing with repairs in my condo from the ice damming from this February. We were supposed to get our wood floor refinished. Guy comes in, and from across the room, can see that the replacement wood is the wrong wood; they used white oak instead of red oak. (A) I had figured that the polycoat would adjust the color to match, but I'm not a flooring guy; I can't fricken' believe that the last people the association hired took that much effort to put the new wood in and never noticed that it was wrong (B) Scheduling contractors is impossible; it is a good thing that I'm unemployed at the moment; (C) We can't decorate for Christmas until we get this floor repaired, they'd better come soon.
