Nothing like being able to have a coach actually throw the ball for you. He's one of the better football minds around, IMO. I wonder if he'll end up on the sidelines. I hope so.

 

Do you know if he has any skill as a coach? Ask Wayne Gretzky's former players how they feel about player-coaches

Maybe as a QB coach, I could see that.

 

Actually, I do know that he has skill as a coach. He designs plays and is pretty much acknowledged as possibly the best ever at recognizing and exploiting defensive schemes on the field.

I think he'd probably be a great offensive coordinator.

Looks like the wheels have come off the Bears season with Forte going down with a MCL sprain. Two bad losses but technically still in the hunt for a wild card spot, but not for long. Too many weaknesses on offense.

Really shows how important the starting QB is in this league. Definitely a QB defined game these days.

 

Scary win for the Packers. Raises a great question though... Would you rather give up the most yards on D, and have the most takeaways, or a shutdown D and never generate turnovers?

No kidding, considering the rules really go out of the way to protect them, the number that have gone down is astounding.

 

look at the texans, they lost both 1st and 2dn string and now there down to a rookie (who looked pretty good) qb

I'll bet the ranch that da Bills, after starting out 5-2, are going to end up 5-11.
At this point in my life as a Bills fan nothing surprises me.
