Favourite Film Scenes

This thread is for those classic scenes that you love to watch in a film. The film itself may be a stinker or a epic classic but that "one scene" stands out to you and may be enough by itself for you to buy the film.
Some of my choices:
The Wardrobe from Night at the Opera

The contract scene from the same film with the "Sanity Clause"

Going with a much newer choice from Sahara

Gene Kelly dancing in the street from Singing in the Rain

Good Morning from the same film

 

One of my favorite scenes is from "Young Frankenstein" with Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Madeline Kahn, Teri Garr and Cloris Leachman.

i don't really think in terms of particular scenes. and i usually like films that move kind of slowly, which reinforces that. but i like this speech from paddy chayevsky's network:

 

Another Marx Brothers gem from Monkey Business. Found a good quality posting on youtube. Yes I do have all of their films on DVD.

 

I am going to throw a compilation out here just because this movie has that many scenes of epic failure this video shows decently and trying to pick just one is quite the challenge.


And for a surreal experience - I am linking this as it as goes to the whole movie on youtube broken into the normal smaller pieces - we have a midget western. I do have this on VHS from a now defunct company that specialised in rare and older films, but have not watched it in several years now.

I love that scene too.

 

Seriously, if done right, most of the Cussler books would make great action movies.

 

The first time I saw this scene in theater I was totally blown away. Awesome movie.
