Well apparently it is for naught. I still see the visits, but they are now charmingly adorned with the 'hide my ass' proxy server indicator. A service that lives up to its name only marginally.

 

Hey MM: Are you using WordPress.org or WordPress.com? I was pretty sure he'd opt for a proxy, which sucks. I run a couple WordPress.org blogs and would be glad to search for something, anything that could block that 'ass'.

Oh, Blogger. OK. Well let me think on this. To be clear, the problem is that you have an unwanted visitor to your blog that you are trying to block from viewing the blog? You are correct. I really don't know what details would be helpful. I've been told, 'I can go to any starbucks and look at your blog...duh' so I imagine if that's true then there's not a lot I can do about it anyway.

I like taking time off of work like any person, but do NOT like digging through emails the day I come back. I only took 2 days off. :-(

I like this month....not that I ever shave my legs or umm...that other thing...but I like the rugged look of men when they don't shave their faces.

 

How am I going to get more books now? (I'm trying not to panic.)

Do you know this person in real life? If so, take care, I had one of those, obsessive stalker. Didnt end well for me - so please, if he knows where you are living or working, alert people that there is a person of questionable sanity who, despite your objections, keeps following you on internet. If he goes that far, then a 'friendly word' might work.

 

yes, I know this person very well. and everyone around me knows what's going on, incl. my employer and the staff of my apt complex. in fact, this last round of harassment (that threatened the potential harassment of a friend of mine that he doesn't even know) has managed to garner the attention of my uncle who is a rather well-known, high-powered attorney in Miami. the 'gets invited to the white house for the last three administrations' type of attorney. I mean, seriously, you don't want to mess with my family when we circle the wagons. It generally doesn't end well for people who fuck with us.

although I did get drawn into an exchange of words yesterday (which I totally regret), I am back to taking a hands off approach. frankly, the more time passes, the less I can manage to invest in it all emotionally. what he needs to do is disappear. for his own good.
