Not really where I am, but look at this line of semi trucks stranded on I-80 this afternoon by the mid-April blizzard out in Western Nebraska. Here in Lincoln it's snowing like crazy and very windy.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

Yesterday I was sitting on a bench in Battery Park in a short sleeve shirt enjoying a summer day.
I'm back home now where it's a damp 32F with lead gray sky, bone chilling wind and residual ice on the trees from last night's freezing rain.
When will winter ever end here?

A friend offered good advice on how to look at this eternal winter we are in.

Don't think of today as April 16th.
Think of it as January 106th.

We have passed amusing, slid past strange, blew right through ridiculous and have arrived at farcical. More cold, more snow, more depression. Can we just have spring now?

    Very cloudy, gray, massively yucky.
Supposed to have low humidity for a while.

In Houston that's a fair trade off.

About 55° here today BUT, I did notice that it was still somewhat light at 8:30pm.:) Definitely a step in the right direction.

Second straight day the giant yellow ball in the sky has made an appearance. Don't know what to make of it. Is it an omen of the end of times? Where's the white stuff that's been falling since December? I'm confused, and afraid. God, what's happening?
