I don't understand your comment. I've enjoyed many vegetarian Indian meals.

Well. If I order a Tikka Masala or a Korma I usually get what I want and nothing else. Sure, the reason why I even found it is that I want new experiences but the vegetarian thing is hardly that experience.

I would venture to say you've experienced less than 5% of the magic of Indian food.

I cook a lot of Indian food at home. We usually have it every couple weeks. We also really enjoy these when camping Tasty Bite

I would venture to say that I've experienced less than 1% but making things strictly vegetarian doesn't exactly help.

I have a feeling I'm onto something good.

In my experience, a great deal of Indian home cooking is vegetarian. It's also reasonably easy to make if you can get ahold of the spices.

At a previous job our office was located a short walk from a vegetarian Indian restaurant, Madras Pavilion. I would go in early just after they set up the lunch buffet. I can't recall the names of all of the dishes, but I can say this omnivore didn't miss meat in the least.

I now consider myself and opportunistic vegetarian meaning that I'll eat veg if the food looks and tastes good. Most of the time, it will be good.

I'll tell you this, if Skogafoss makes baked chicken legs I'm not eating them. They are bland and have no color making them less than appetizing. So I can see how people think vegetarian food is boring or bland since they think of vegetarian as a side dish of peas or corn.
